I finally finished Inuyasha The Final Season, I've watched them all. That was the best season out of all of them. Can't believe it took me decades to finally catch up to one of my favorite anime's but I fell off back when I couldn't afford keeping up with the DVD collections 😅

One thing o would have written about if I had time right now is the difference in who is considered acceptable protesting at the moment. You notice certain demographics are absent for a good reason, demographics that largely lead protests and were criticized for it before.

Totally didn't miss out on going. I don't feel the need to be present and cover stuff like this anymore, which is good. I'm glad so many people are mobilizing, and there's hyper localized reporting even if it's citizen reporting in certain smaller cities. Despite the negative changes we do adapt.

So the Berkeley No Kings protest organizers are saying there's an alarming number of people signing up. They emphasize no violence, staying on the sidewalk, don't bring your own signs but bring American flags because, the theme is taking the country back. Mmmmkay. Good luck with that. We'll see.

Alcatraz has a history of Native American rebellion and resilience, that's what its most known for now. Any other narrative is erasing everything they worked for. Plus the prison was ineffective, cruel and extremely expensive that is why it was closed down. It's way too old for modern use.

A major red flag in the Bay Area/Oakland & San Francisco was the sudden rise in Asian hate crimes around the same time media fear reported those they over reported shop lifting as if it was mostly done by Black and POC. Hard to deal with that narrative.

The sad thing is the people who advocate hard to reduce crime, homelessness and drug use claiming it's all a DA or mayor of Oaklands fault so they needed to be recalled; none of them would be outraged or care. If they do I will be shocked. The political agenda was never really about safety.

I heard news that unions are planning a real general strike in 2028 nation wide. That's really major. The unions unifying to strike together with organizations as well. If institutions like colleges and school district union do that as well, faculty, staff students. Whew, the foresight & planning.
