I've had 2 surgeries in the last 4 months. one was kidney stones which is as painful childbirth and then a hiatal hernia repair. I had to eat a liquid only diet for wks b4 and after the surgery. More pain. But finally thru that, w/ a reward for fasting - I lost 30 pounds,it's staying off! no effort.
