(also, i think the structure of GBF is not conducive to raids that have like Real Mechanics Going On that you need to solve beyond a buff or debuff to work around; and that seems to be the direction things are going in so i have even less incentive to do new raids!)

i'm fine logging on during random free pull periods and doing like, pro skip stuff and helping friends out up to m3 raids, but beyond that just feels like it's too far out of reach without dedicating all of my free time to the game

i'm at the point where i need to get into revans raids, but it feels like trying them out without having transcended eternals and fully upgraded evoker weapons is pointless, and the amount of effort needed to get an evoker weapon fully upgraded is simply way too fucking much to justify for me

then the gameplay has been in this sense of constant escalation to keep level 425 players engaged, but for anyone that isn't that level of dedicated, the amount of effort needed to break past certain thresholds increases exponentially

honestly i kind of feel bad for gbf and like, generally where it is. it feels like the estalucia arc was ended early because the new director just didn't like it and wanted to do his own thing, so he unceremoniously killed it off just to start his own thing

honestly, though, purely from a financial perspective it would be nice not having the same kind of bills. rent, internet, power... it would all be so much cheaper. especially since this house IS paid off and all, but even if it wasn't i suspect it would be far cheaper than what my rent will go to

re: brother stuff; i guess if we both moved out of this place he would be able to look for a different job. hes keeping his job at our apartment complex basically because we live there and it's helping keep eyes off of our place, but if we both moved out of there then he would be able to look around

the thing that would really suck about this is that i juuuuuuuust found a cool gaming club here in rochester that i would have to effectively abandon :/ the area I would be moving to doesn't have anything even remotely as expansive so that would really suck to lose

what i'm getting at is that our family there is not especially helpful and is more or less actively draining dry and doing the barest minimum in return, so she relies on her neighbors. but her neighbors aren't always there to help, so if something happens she's on her own

and of course, the family we do have in michigan is at minimum 1.5 hours drive away, if they can be assed to drive there with short notice to begin with (especially if they cba to go over and help with basic things as-is)

summer sucks because it's hot out, but it's much more preferred against winter. fall, though? the smell, the cooler temps and a gentle breeze, put on a thin jacket and you're set for the best time outside of the whole year

I think Autumn is my favorite season. I hate the winter because driving in the snow sucks ass, and spring is a nice warmup but it feels like it doesn't exist most of the time
