Andy Burnham said the UK needs more employers to step up and offer work experience opportunities for young people.

“This is a really positive development today,” he said.

Insane, obsessive, targeted harassment of arguably the worlds most marginalised demographic, for political and financial gain.

Seventeen thousand articles were published about so-called 'trans issues' by just four British newspapers in five years, according to new research from Amnesty International UK.
The vast majority of the reporting excludes Trans+ perspectives and platforms' anti-trans talking points, the research found.
The four newspapers - The Sun, The Times, The Guardian and The Telegraph - mentioned JK Rowling 106 times in their coverage, with 202 mentions of a prime minister or political party leader.
Trans people themselves were mentioned by name just 24 times. Sixteen of those mentions were murdered teen Brianna Ghey, and eight were convicted rapist Isla Bryson.

I maintain my belief that to be transphobic is a bigger indicator of poor mental health than being transgender ever will be.

he was signed off work in March 2023 with severe anxiety, and again in November 2023, due to two mental health breakdowns.

Concerns were raised about his X activity prior to him being signed off in the November, but he continued posting while he was off work, despite being warned he was breaching the BBC's guidelines.

He was eventually dismissed for gross misconduct on 25 July 2024.

I think I speak for the entire trans community when I say that this is the role he played that was most impactful.

Waved me through the ticket barrier and insisted I message him when I got home so he knew I was back safe.
