I think as soon as this becomes possible, shadow docket decisions have to be declared unlawful. It is inconceivable how the Highest Court can give a decision, but not the reasoning behind it. This has to be one of the reforms of SCOTUS (besides term and age limits and binding ethical guidelines).

When I wrote 'they' I referred to the German government. As for the German voters - the right-wing parties all over Europe, supported by Musk and Putin, gain followers due to the inefficiency of the moderate governments to address the real problems like food prizes and housing.
