One of my favorite things has been seeing how @danimalcannon.com has grown as an artist. When I met him back in college 15 years ago he was already doing wild stuff and I just never cease to be impressed. Genuinely one of the most creative and down to earth people Ive ever met.

Overall experience 9.5/10. Would give it at 10/10 for experience if not for the wonky mic issues at the start of the session. Once going and everything working properly, absolutely amazing and I can't wait for more!

Sheep Are A Myth @sheepareamyth.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I did have mic issues at the start, but I think it was something conflicting with the frame and OVR toolkit. I restarted my frame and it seemed to fix something. I will see if I can replicate it, but it may just have been first time connection buggy-ness.

Sheep Are A Myth @sheepareamyth.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Notes that were shared with me. The mic sounded quiet despite it being at 100% in game and 100% on the frame screen. May need to gain boosted? Could also be due to active noise cancelling as well. Picture was clear and expressions and movement were clean.

Did a thorough test in VRChat tonight with my Steam Frame. Noticed a small amount of cut out here and there but overall it was mostly a smooth experience. I was unplugged for a good hour and a half before having to plug into a battery bank and my 45W bank charged to full with 57% still left in it.

Okay, but the fact that you did matching outfit changes though the stream was wild!

So you can absolutely crank your Stram Fram resolution per eye x500%..why? I have no idea but you can. It makes the frame lag out hard, but its a thing you absolutely can do.

It absolutely cannot be more expensive to retain a concept artist long term than it is to subscribe to a GenAI program. Like, there is just no way. Especially if its on a per contract basis.

On Day 2 we got up to $1420 💖 It turns out I have a lot of stream energy in me because I've done two 9 hour streams in a row now 😅 might need to try and limit myself. Our game wheel had us play Dispatch, Laika Aged Through Blood, and Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. All were really great :D

God. Just heard about a furry streamer that replaced their alerts with AI slop sounds/animations/etc. You're part of a whole subculture that exists because of and around artists. The fact that you're choosing billionaire tech bro scraps over your community is astoundingly insulting and pathetic.
