I worked briefly at a place that made enamel pins, owned by a married couple. The man worked onsite and the woman at home. The man would constantly call his wife a bitch and say she was useless and stupid. I left at lunch on my first day, never called just didn’t go back.

Acetaminophen doesn’t work for me at all unless it’s for toothaches 😵‍💫 and even then I take one ibuprofen with it. I’m so used to taking Advil I can take it on an empty stomach and be fine, but I’ve had 3 teas and a meal replacement drink since I last took anything.

I think 4 advil is 800mg of ibuprofen, but it’s not like it’ll kill me if I have 2 more after 5 full hours… I’m relatively healthy and don’t have liver or kidney issues.

They did!!! I was curious about whether this came out before or after Adam Kay’s NHS memoir (they’re unrelated, but the memoir is older) and found there’s a UK TV adaptation. Usually I tell hubby about the books I’m reading but I’m 🤐 so we can watch it together.
