“All the characters are dead.” I just got through the actual anniversary of the death of one of my parents… I wish there was a way to tag that phrase that so many people who hated the ending are using… it’s deeply upsetting to those of us who are grieving the people closest to us.

There's some weird misconception going around that Terry's name isn't in the s3 credits? EXCEPT IT IS??? It's the FIRST non-acting credit that appears on screen. Rob's name as executive producer from Narrativia is also there. Can't believe I'm having to do this. 1/2

Certainly…I’ve been a Pratchett fan for a very long time. It’s part of the reason I believe so completely that the ending is what he wanted, because it’s such a “Pratchett“ type of ending. If Rob Wilkins & Rhianna had been uninvolved, especially in this last bit, I would have felt very icky.

Sure… it just sounds like folks are trying to believe anything they can to reinforce a wish that the ending we saw ‘wasn’t real’… that it could have been how they wanted it to end… which also seems like a strange use of energy. Seems like it should be ok to just like it or not like it 🤷

So… Rob and Rhianna just signed off on whatever the writing team wrote… As executive producers? We know from the other author that the notes that they took from that time were sealed away in a safe in Terry’s actual office, that Rob managed.

Y’all… Terry Pratchett wrote that ending 30+ years ago. That is how GO was always going to end. It’s ok to not be happy with that ending, but that’s what it was always going to be. Rob & Rhianna would not have fought so hard for something different. There are no questions to be asked or truths (1/2)
