Congrats to our colleague @sheebellax2.bsky.social! Her story “A Gift at the Doorstep” is in The Kindread Coast anthology and pays homage to her Heiltsuk heritage, the Coast Salish land where she gratefully lives, and the shapeshifters who slink between our world and the spirit side. surl.li/odpybe

This is my first collaborative writing piece and I’m grateful to have done it with such amazing Indigenous women, my sisters in Indigenous philanthropy. Thank you for the feature, @terralingua.bsky.social #writingcommunity #writers #writing #Indigenous #philanthropy

Join us at the Sisters in Spirit Vigil, Feb 14, to walk with those honouring the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+. It’s a time for “remembrance, reflection, and solidarity with the families and communities impacted by this ongoing tragedy." #MMIWG #MMIWG2S

“tâpwêwin media is built on the concept of tâpwêwin — a natural law in nehiyaw (Cree) culture that reflects a commitment to truth-telling and integrity in storytelling.” Much needed in times where certain platforms have regressed back to sharing mis/disinformation. Congrats @indiginews.bsky.social!

Leaving this BS in 2024! Here’s to a new year of fresh starts, new learnings, cognitive empathy, radical change and resistance, writing, reading, a healthier lifestyle, reconnection to nature, and maybe even my teams winning! #manifest #abetterworld #create #imagine #activate #landback

Today’s blue sky came after a wind storm and was most welcome by my dog Raven! No filter needed. Don’t mind my broken fence lol

Hello Bluesky folks! I’m excited to be here :) I work in Indigenous philanthropy and like to write poetry, short fiction, and non-fiction. You can find me watching hockey, drinking craft beer, or walking in the woods and the beach with my dog, taking amateur photos of fungi. #landback baby!
