Gillian Anderson talking about working on Hannibal! Sorry for the poor quality. filming technically wasn’t allowed so I was hiding my phone. The person she is talking about at the beginning is Bryan Fuller!

🍉Shay @shaybeenerd.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

Gillian mentioned Hannibal at AwesomeCon! Filming wasn’t allowed (SMFH stupid rule) but essentially she said working with Mads was great, she joined the show because Bryan was so passionate, and he wrote paragraphs to be confusing just to watch her try and figure out how to say it, LOL!

i literally have no idea why they banned it lol. if people were complaining about recording, then taking pictures is just as disruptive lolllll

🍉Shay @shaybeenerd.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

awesomecon jumping on the “no recording allowed” bandwagon. smhhhhhhhhhhhhh i guess no more video momentos for me.

comcast and intuit turbo tax aren’t doing SHIT to reduce the amount of commercials on olympics prime time. “Brought to you with reduced commercials thanks to X” is a lie, this is clearly the normal amount of commercials.

🍉Shay @shaybeenerd.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

i haven’t gotten a callback *yet i should say. i have NO idea when they plan on sending out callbacks???

000

🍉Shay @shaybeenerd.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

had one of the craziest auditions of my life. kept swinging between “it’s so over” and “we’re so back.” Then a board member of the theater who i’m not 100% WASNT a ghost told me “see you on wednesday” which would be when callbacks are— BUT I HAVENT GOTTEN A CALLBACK

🍉Shay @shaybeenerd.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

I used Hobbii rainbow cotton! So it was pretty cheap. tbh i kind of based the whole project around going with hobbii cause i knew if i bought any other type of yarn the bill would be MASSIVE

130

🍉Shay @shaybeenerd.bsky.social · 03/08/2025

Approximately 1200 hours of work, but surprisingly the yarn wasn’t expensive! probably about $30 went into this. It’s just cotton size 1

in other news, i got a new cat! Her name is Griddle, she is a rare orange girl, and she is the clumsiest cat i have ever met

a fairly large orange cat playing with a toy. She is on her back with a fluffy belly showing. Her arms are extended to reach for the toy and her mouth is opened.

tbf, i’m not that critical of Doctor Who— I watch the show because I love the show…. But so far this has been one of the most solid seasons in recent memory. I’ve legit LOVED every episode and have rewatched them each a handful of times.
