It's a really nice redemption story in an overall series with no shortage of 'em, and it might be the best arc, though Starlight Glimmer's gives it a run for the money. And yeah, Sunset's a friggin' knockout to boot, and Rebecca Shoichet gives her a smokin' hot voice.

The Sirens are on the cusp of victory 'til Sunset finally accepts that she can't escape the person she used to be, but she doesn't have to let that person define her, either. Her friends can like her for who she is NOW, not because they pity her for who she was THEN, and she can like herself, too.

And a worse movie would have that be the fix- Twilight shows up, rallies the troops, and through some combination of teenage spunk and horse magic, the day is saved. But Twilight utterly fails. Her plan doesn't work, and at the climax, even the heroes of the film are at each others' throats.

But no, she wants to be better. So she turns to the magical pony princess who fixed everything in the first movie! Twilight shows up, and is instantly just as weird as the rest about trying to be friends with a girl who, last time she visited, turned into an actual demon and blew up a building.

These three show up and soon have the whole school wrapped around their collective finger, literally feeding off the bad vibes and conflict they're inflicting on the students AND faculty. They know Sunset used to be queen B, and maybe she could take 'em on if she were still That Bitch.

Not like she's ever *forgotten*; her classmates still reflexively flinch every time she walks past, and she wants *so much* to fix that, but wonders if she can actually *be* a better person, or if she's forever chained to her past. Then a new threat shows up in the form of the Sirens.

Sunset's *invited* to their band practice, but she's not *in* the band. She hangs out with 'em, but she's not really an active participant. And at every turn, these jerks can't help but keep reminding her- unintentionally- that she used to be this really horrible person!

We start the movie with Sunset thoroughly humbled by her experience, but committed to making amends for the whole mentally-dominating-the-student-body-and-almost-destroying-the-school thing, and the girls have brought her into the friend circle, but she's definitely still being kept at a distance.

EqG, though, has MLP's habit of reforming villainesses, and that's where Sunset really shines. Rainbow Rocks (the second movie) is probably my favorite in the series. Sure, it gave us Adagio and her Siren sisters, but what it does with Sunset's redemption arc is *really* compelling.

Maaan, this site only gives you 300 words per post! Sunset's one of those characters I like 'cause she's legitimately a great *character*. Starts out in the original movie as a typical high-school mean girl, which itself is definitely one of my Types. And really, that's all she coulda been!

Ever since Poker Prompts began, there's been an Equestria Girl or two in the Characters lists. Sunset was actually in the original 2016 series, and Adagio joined the roster the very next year. Couldn't resist roping (well, chaining) Sunset into Adagio's sole appearance in the 2017 series, though!

Those same figures of Sunset and Adagio, standing in roughly the same spot on my desk nearly 10 years ago, behind chips labeled "Adagio Dazzle" and "Oral."

Adagio Dazzle has Sunset Shimmer (MLP: Equestria Girls series) right where she wants her. Sunset is nude and has her arms chained together above her head, and has Adagio Dazzle straddling her face. Adagio is dressed in a black leather corset, sheer black thigh-highs and purple fingerless gloves. Adagio gropes one of her own breasts and bites her lip in pleasure as Sunset gets down to the task-at-tongue.

These are supposed to be daily sketches, and even when I'm doing them ahead of time, I do my best to not spend more than a couple hours on 'em; this one took around 2 or 3, if memory serves!

I used this prompt as an excuse to redraw an old pen-and-marker drawing of Peach! She's the quintessential submissive, but I've always liked the idea of domme Peach, too. This one's from at least 2000; I wasn't great about dating drawings back then. Still, no idea is too ancient to rehash!

You'd think I'd have remembered Vivian earlier, considering I drew Goombella for an "Innocent/Twist" prompt for 2024's Kinktober sketch series. Viv's a great gal, but Goombella's the partner I always went back to. She's just so sassy!

Miko showed up in the 2020 series and got drawn twice. She was probably my favorite newcomer in that year's series! Here's her first sketch (along with the Honey Bee Inn Costume prompt, in its only appearance), from October 13, 2020.

Miko Kubota (Glitch Techs) evidently got the wrong idea when her cosplay group planned their big Fairytale Finale XXVII project for HinobiCon. She had her Quarrel Thunderhead costume all set to go, but someone else had already laid claim to the ex-BATTLER main character... In fact, the only outfit that WASN'T spoken for was the secy bee-themed outfit from an early game brothel scene.

Definitely looks better on her than it does on Five; poor guy just doesn't have the curves for it.
