I was happy to find this Silent Scope cabinet still in great condition not so far from the waterfront at Indiana Beach this past weekend #konami #arcadegames #silentscope

I've covered the surprisingly good (and extremely late gen) Lost World: Jurassic Park for #Genesis before, but today I discovered the pleasantly bite-sized #GameGear version, also released in 1997 and clocking in as the last NA/EU release on the handheld!

What I was up to in #AnimalCrossing Wild World on #NintendoDS in December 2005: #ICO outfit, street art of The Prince from #Katamari, and lots of nerdy custom pattern designs

Looking for whispy, silent type, preferably to hold hands with

Mario overalls, Gryffindor uniform, LUMINES t-shirt, Super Mario World cape feather, Super Mario Bros. 2 turnip, Matrix Code, ICO hat pattern. And the first was just an exclamation I was using on the ground to mark pitfalls maybe?

I love how #CrimsonDesert reveals after 130 hours that there are dragons in this world and sets up a dramatic scene of character healing, but also introduces a fucking mechanical mini golf arcade 10 feet away which I had to investigate first 🤦

I barely stopped working all day between 9:30am and 6pm. We have a springtail problem and I applied a 4th coating to the outside of the house (in intense heat) and shot every crack I could find in the basement with new interior spray. I think it's getting under control finally though!

Bummed to find out that Ocean's One Step Beyond is not based on the Madness song, nor Prince Buster's original, despite the box's ska vibes It does have a well animated intro and nice MIDI soundtrack (but sadly not a ska soundtrack). Ok, back to what I was researching in the first place

D3Publisher has done it. They made one game that contains the biggest number of games that I absolutely do not want to play! World Table Games, coming to Switch 2 in Dec., holds over 60 "classics" like: - NOthello - Go (away) - Su-NOPE-ku - Mahjwrong + Every variety of western gambling!

Look at that phat box shine! We didn't get a #PS3 on day one, it was nearly a year later on July 13th, 2007 that I was unpacking this gargantuan console and shoehorning it into our entertainment center The feels seeing that #PSN! So many freebies, a simple text list of "What's New" #PlayStation

Charging the Sixaxis controller next to a Dual Shock 2, now rendered obsolete 😲

The PlayStation Store interface on July 16th, 2007 feature more free content than paid content. Movie trailers sit alongside free demos, full games, and add-on DLC

What do these 2 Game Gear puzzlers have in common? Surprise, they're the same game! Only for Factory Panic, Sega replaced a playable MIKHAIL GORBACHEV with a blond guy The Soviet era vibes are surprising & the puzzle bits have some neat ideas, yet... #gaming #retrogaming #Gorabachev #Sega #GameGear

The +BEST+ feeling in #gaming is when you're playing a block breaker and you get the ball up on top and it just shreds through all the pieces and whips around Followed promptly by the -WORST- feeling in gaming, when there's one piece left and you can't hit it for like 45 seconds #atari #breakout

Sure feels like someone at PlayStation pulled the "in case of raging players" emergency alarm on this one. No details, no name, no date, just "hey guys, it's Kratos, forget about discs... please?"

Is there a name for this condition? I love #pinball but am exceedingly terrible at it even after playing for ~30 years: I always hit the outlanes. I always lose the ball just as I activate an event. I'm terrible about tilting. I don't think I've ever scored above 50 million on a single machine

Total Carnage on Game Boy!? T2: The Arcade Game on Game Gear!? I get that it was the era of "the arcade experience on-the-go", and I respect the talent of teams to recreate them within extreme hardware limitations But c'mon, did anyone LOVE these portable ports? #sega #nintendo #gameboy #gamegear

Ugh, I can see it now: Microsoft Office Suite for Minecraft, Copilot for Minecraft, Call of Duty skin pack for Minecraft (did they do this already?). Microsoft always has to quadruple down on the moneymakers with every division shoehorning their things into it.

My next "dream controller" contender has arrived! Turtle Beach's Stealth Pivot has flippable control pads with a regular Xbox style layout and 6-button layout Theoretically it covers all the bases for retro consoles and might be my next try! Here's hopin'!

OH, TO DREAM: there's an alternate SKU of #PlayStation6 that still has a disc drive and it finally supports backward compatibility from #PS1 through #PS5 Would that be worth $1,000+ ? Nowadays it's the only thing I'd find tempting

I'm sure it's appeared elsewhere through #RockstarGames history, but the 'Say Sorry, Be Vice' poster in the latest #GTAVI screenshots reminded me instantly of this button that I picked up at E3 2000/2001 featuring Sam Houser. Loving the little details already
