Look out Lillard! Bronny "LOGO" James is making a name for himself.

I'm biased having spent the formative years of my life in the 90's but I totally agree with you. They learned a lot in the 80's and really took it to a new level.

I would love to see him play for posterity at least. I prefer back when he played with Miles, but he's a pretty competent contemporary jazz player. Not sure I could sit through a Christmas concerts though. Admirable.

I watch live DJs on twitch all the time that play lots of 90's stuff and they often spin videos. It really reminds you of what a good time the 90's were.

Yep. I'd often just fall into my screen time and listen. It's not like some of the games were worth watching. The tangents they'd drift into were epic at times. Those guys made the Chauncey era tolerable.

Honestly they were why I watched games during that slump. I didn't so much watch the games as I had them on in the background just to listen to the commentary.

Honestly, his sincerity. Kevin wasn't performing. He created a genuine connection through the team with the fans. He was so much more than an announcer.

I had a friend that worked on that show for several years. He had some really interesting stories.

I feel like Dame and Giannis just didn't fit at all. I didn't watch a ton of games but the experiment was such that they ate his contract, which is still wild to me.

Basketball Jones❤️🖤🤍🏀 @shawnjohn.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Fair enough. I just have yet to see any real shooting from the guy.

Basketball Jones❤️🖤🤍🏀 @shawnjohn.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

This timeline is messed up, but at least we have Dame back in Portland to give us some sense of normalcy.

040

Basketball Jones❤️🖤🤍🏀 @shawnjohn.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Exactly. I haven't seen him do shit worth mentioning yet. Questionable Cronin move there. I'm not a Cronin hater but I don't see this one paying dividends.

As a white person I'm never really interested in bringing in more white people to literally any situation which includes, especially, a NBA team.

I'll give Ja a pass. Probably jitters. Lot of pressure. Vit hasn't shown me anything since we acquired him. Deni kind of is what it is. I don't love him but he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I rarely use Facebook but I snoozed on getting DJ Shadow tickets so in desperation I posted an ask there for help getting tix to the sold out show at the Crystal Ballroom and less than 24 hours later I'm on the list. Gotta love it when social media actually does something good in the world!

And you're not dead yet? What will the internets say?????

I was able to Zip through BlazerVision when I realized it was over and caught the highlights. Combined with Locked On Blazers I got up to speed.

So I totally missed the preseason opener last night not that preseason openers matter. I guess the highlights will suffice. Again, preseason misses don't really count, right?

I'm not sure why I'm watching the Lakers and the Kings. I guess I'm just really excited to have the NBA back.

I liked the pickup from day one. This guy knows he has a big opportunity and I think he will seize it. It helps that we have such a strong fanbase.

I had a thought earlier today that I should check and see if my auto renew was turned on for BlazerVision. Guess I have my answer. Hate giving Dundon the money but it makes things easier for me.

Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello covering Clampdown by the Clash and trading lines pretty much just made my evening.

I'm glad you tuned in. I'm a fan of diversity when it comes to music. It's easy to get pigeon holed into what you always listen to. I think it's important to step outside of your comfort zone with music.

Watching this live on the tube of you. Seeing Cypress Hill with Flavor Flav cover Jump around by House of Pain was worth the watch already. Tom Morello doing Tom Motello stuff currently.

Long and short of it, if you're going to be public facing member of a sports organization, maybe scrub your internet history a bit. Is it excessive? Maybe, but he's still have the job if he had done it.
