ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Or larry in Pokemon Masters Ex and that has the same tone and energy as kiryu lol

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

I actually think there a others who received more flak than yong yea. But..within the RGG community, yea he got a lot of hate even when he gotten better as kiryu.

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

If Pokemon Masters EX have a magazine. Would you guys read it? it be cheap and good stuff : )

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

it's topher ngo singing since Director's cut. and because when they hear the karaoke of the english dub. so many assume it's yong. and i agree it really does sound like him. lol Still..i kinda feel it's a hit and miss.

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

also...it's RGG community..a lot of western fans will do whatever it takes to find something to hate. sorry if im being rude about it

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

it's the RGG community...they will do anything to hate his performance. even they won't admit he's improving. they even THOUGHT yong is singing in kiwami 3 lol

110

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

Totally agree, but shame so many people are force hating on twitter even up to this day

110

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

The dubs for hands is actually not bad. Sadly IW autotune which well…gaslight a lot of fans

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 15/02/2026

Happy Valentines Day guys...Remember to snuggle as much as you can for you love ones!

020

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

wow i really am the only who doesn't mind Yong Yea voicing Kiryu?

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

Gaiden and IW, i can understand, but Yakuza 0 DC and Kiwami 3? I say he gotten better

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

sounds hindering to me lol....i don mind yong

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

Honestly i don know what to say or feel. I sometimes don care what he does or what the company does. Like i know i don watch his videos. Never like these kind of videos. All i like is yong yea voicing kiryu. But i guess its to raise awareness

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

Isnt it because he’s under contract? Especially kuroda?

100

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 23/01/2026

its war on twitter..even when i said yong is ok as kiryu

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

Frankly you are not wrong, in bluesky there are a lot more positivity about him than on twitter. I know its an echo chamber, but sometimes my emotions gets the best of me and let all of them know i still like the current kiryu dub.

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

In honesty..they continue to bring up the topic, i wan to try ignore, but sometimes the RGG community pissed me off that i wan to let them know some like tong voicing kiryu.

110

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 07/01/2026

Kiryu is too iconic. high expectations and hardcore eng subbers in the RGG community, i think it's rough man.

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

Right? I really get their opinion, i really do, but sometimes when we say we like the dub, some will attack us…

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

I do agree they nailed the scene, but RGG fans will always find a way to hate on Yong...AND only him.

100

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 25/12/2025

I might come back to bluesky..so this is me being "fine" lol....siiigh...time to migrate again....

020

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 24/12/2025

honestly to me he improved. i get that this is an opinion, but to me he sounds alright.

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

Yea the FFTA games are pretty amazing. it's cute and different from the mainline game. love the designs

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

The FFTA and A2 designs are truly amazing. a final fantasy game i definitely love to play. it's my childhood game!

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 08/11/2025

he didn say anything about yong yea? He's only talking about kagawa, the new va of Hamazaki, and a sex offender.

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

Exactly. Plus Kiryu IS an iconic role. Leave it to someone new or young, and they will attack you without mercy.

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

the RGG community in a nutshell. that's one of the main reason I leave the community. Sure he's not the best. but HE IS getting better in Kiwami 3.

110

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

I know some fans like Yong and some don’t. Majority yes, but if Yong yea keep getting the role even after the whole incident, then the we can’t do anything but complain.

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

after how many times he's been casted as kiryu even after the whole "i earned kiryu" incident. i think sega still see that his performance is good

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

fans been saying to get rid of yong so many times and yet he comes back. something tells me the devs like yong and im liking yong got the role again!

100

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

Very true, some people are being a bit unreasonable and comparing Yong to Kiryu. Sure, Kuroda is a legend and he’s iconic, but it’s a bit unfair to compare to a legend

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

not at all. with all the negativity that's going on...it's good to see some positive stuff about yong kiryu

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Decided to post this! I drew my girlfriend in a beautiful dress! I wan to try and draw something fancy for her! I wan to thank @dinojagger12.bsky.social for showing me the dress for her! And yes this is a dress whenever there's a fancy party.

052

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 30/05/2025

No matter how difficult your path is. Stay strong and fight on! OVERCOME YOUR OBSTACLES! Just want to draw something with warriors and such. Nothing much! and the one behind is my friend @dinojagger12.bsky.social

042

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 15/05/2025

HEY GUYS! IT'S DIO! HE CAN STOP TIME!

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 10/05/2025

Same with my thoughts. i honestly thought it works really well in my opinion.

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 10/05/2025

I heard he retired on being kiryu. While he is good…but admittedly yong did improve and his voice fits. Shame he gets a lot of hate for no reason

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

you know what...fair point. just the harassment is getting out of control. that's why we should take the war to twitter instead of bluesky lol

020

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

Sorry that doesn’t make sense. What I’m saying yong did improve, and we shouldn cause trouble in bluesky

100

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 08/05/2025

Im fine with this. He did better now. do we really need to do this on bluesky as well?

100

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

Sometimes they just won't admit he's good. i think he did better. im ready to fight back lol

010

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

One the right is 2018. The left is the UPDATED one.

000

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

Back in 2018 I drew gallade and myself in a high angle view. I decided to update it and give it a try. I drew it because I used to serve in the Singapore Army. I may not be the best soldier, probably bad. But it shaped me for who I am I may not be Guardsman material, but my heart is still Guardsman

110

ShawndSlayer @shawndslayer.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

WHOA WHOA WHOA REALLY??? then again...he has been drawing a lot of rosalina a lot!
