This is exactly why I am not overly optimistic about the midterms. Yes it will be better than what we have now if Dems gain majority but that’s not enough. Change & accountability that’ll make a real difference can only happen if those Dems are willing to roll w/ force. I see no evidence of that

Facts! The trauma & devastation forced on them by people who look like them & came to the U.S. from some of the same places, for the same reasons. That level of betrayal is tragic & will cause deep wounds that’ll take much work & time to heal. They’re just being used as you described in the example

I’m so grateful that my ancestors were brave enough to face the enemy even though they knew many would not survive & others would be terrrorized. Fear, submission & obedience is what they count on. I hope so & they should but I’ll wait for the results. Women had so much anger after the Roe v Wade decision as well and in 24 they voted for Trump in higher numbers than his 2 previous runs according to National Network Exit polls. I will believe it AFTER I see it

I’m not sure what’s more telling…the fact that so many people sat there acting like they didn’t hear what was happening or the negotiations about whether she could stay on the bus. Says a lot about or society and our “allies” I see no changes and it explains why we are where we are today
