It is #FluorescenceFriday and here we have another cool image! "AGE IS INDEED JUST A NUMBER: BUD SCAR NUMBER” Image shows yeast cells that were stained using the dye calcofluor white to visualise bud scars. The number of bud scars is proportional to the replicative age of the cell. #Microscopy
