WIP Update I felt like I managed to get some good work down with the background and environment, though I still feel like there is much to be desired and improved on, looking back I really haven't done many background stuff so far. #WIP #Drawing #DigitalArt #FurryArt #Furry #Pokémon

A few of the paragraphs from the letter that stood out to me in particular

I read in the newspaper that your community is mystified by the outcry from all over the country about what you have done. Well, you have discovered that Drake is a part of American civilization, and your fellow Americans can’t stand it that you have behaved in such an uncivilized way. Perhaps you will learn from this that books are sacred to free men for very good reasons, and that wars have been fought against nations which hate books and burn them. If you are an American, you must allow all ideas to circulate freely in your community, not merely your own.

If you were to bother to read my books, to behave as educated persons would, you would learn that they are not sexy, and do not argue in favor of wildness of any kind. They beg that people be kinder and more responsible than they often are. It is true that some of the characters speak coarsely. That is because people speak coarsely in real life. Especially soldiers and hardworking men speak coarsely, and even our most sheltered children know that. And we all know, too, that those words really don’t damage children much. They didn’t damage us when we were young. It was evil deeds and lying that hurt us.

WIP update Since I am now finding myself a little bit of extra energy after work, a sluggish hour at times, progress is being made, but last night's art stream was rough. I just couldn't get knots to make sense in my head. Just need to get to the tail and then I can do some environment work.

WIP of one of my art projects that I am switching full focus to, a birthday gift for one of my online friends, whose birthday was in June, so I am late of course. Still, I am excited to be done with the line work soon to move to colors #drawing #WIP #digitalart #furry #furryart

Not the worse, but I miss out on being a werewolf. At least I can look closer to a bat and Warhammer ghoul king.

Thanks again @unnamedart.bsky.social for your stream raffle last week. I received my prize (the glass) earlier in the week and it looks great. I will keep looking forward to your streams.

From last night's art stream in creating a sci-fi version of my sona. One of my ideas was the spider leg gimmick, but I am not really happy with the idea. My plan was do a bipedal leg version before committing, and see what people think. I may go with the legs depending on how it turns out.

Amateur hobby artist, I tend to be slow, but I like to think I am in that learning stage still, and getting it down on paper first, but also a trademark of my work so far

WIP update from last night's art stream. I wanted to do a hyena mane of wires and layered plating, but I couldn't visualize the rigid plating so I compromised, which also led me to revisit those on the top and curving them out a bit. #drawing #digitalart #hyena #furry #furryart #WIP #scifi

WIP from last night's art stream. It was shorter than usual, low energy kind of night, but I felt like I made great progress with the neck. #WIP #Drawing #digitalart #furryart #furry

From last night's art stream, I managed to get the left hand finished, the week before I was struggling with the hand, touched up the right hand, and started a basic idea for the neck for later I found myself burnt out after two hours. Overall good progress I say #drawing #digitalart #furryart

From last night's art stream with making a sci-fi version of my sona. I mainly worked on the hand and arm as I wanted to incorporate the cybernetic theme with the necromancer theme ideas as well. I also wanted to have syringes under the nails #drawing #digitalart #furryart #scifi #necromancy

A crop digital drawing of a right arm of a anthro spotted hyena (still a work in process), that is a mix of cybernetics and necromancy. The hand is fully robotic with syringes under the nails. The forearm is a mix of bone, robotic parts, and necromancy infused flesh intertwined, with some of the skin stretching over the forearm as the bone and machinery is visible. At the elbow is more just necromancy infused flesh displayed in partial swirls and curve lines.

My sister showed me a pic of my dad's cat Omelet and the way they sit together, and the look on Omelet's face is amusing with how he is sitting there.

I just heard about this in the morning while listening to NPR, half asleep, and I still need to do a deeper research and read, but I thought it best to play it safe and warn others, because this screams "Bad Idea" to me of AI buying for you. I plan on talking to my bank about this avoid it.

Possibly going to make a big step in life and I was curious if I tried to do commissions as a side gig if my work would be worth it? There isn't anything planned, a feel out to see if I have potential or best to wait a little longer. Resharing some work.

I also just remembered the Welsh folklore of the Mari Lwyd, though I can see people arguing this as a loophole to the wendigo subject, if not for something else. (Image taken from Google)

The first WIP of the new art project, trying to make a sci fi alt of my sona, adeptus mechanicus inspired. It seems goofy now, but that is because I am mot sure to go with skull dog style approach, or go with a skull face mask. I am right now leaning towards the former. I want the skull to open up

Pere easily would be the best, he is a sentient robot, who will most likely talk a lot during the game. I know you said "best" but I wanted to add in Rhoaxa would probably be the worst out of the few official OCs I have.
