also managed to code in state as query params why isnt there like a nice wrapper named createQuerySignal where you just give it the key and other stuff solid only gives useSearchParams and you just set an object on it and key into it had to write my own abomination wrapper that does how i want it

I think it's safe to post this, as we have talked about some of these quite a bit:

To preface, this is not the guaranteed way federation will work, but it helps to give important context on the way we are thinking about it.

High level goals:

1. To the average user, it should feel like they are just using one instance.
2. We want to ensure clients do not need to connect to hundreds of instances in order to message people. Your friend with a 10 year old laptop and 20mbs internet should be fine using fluxer
3. We don't want safety to be an afterthought. Users should have reasonable guards under their, their community managers, and their instance managers
4. We don't want a user to be locked into their instance. They should be able to migrate their content and account anywhere.

but it mentions DID Document, Relay, Instances, Voice Server and all the connections between them
Also theres this text:
1. Encrypted community messages -> Home instances do not see the message content for guest instances
Guest instances decrypt the content. When the Guest instance pushes content to the user, it does so under the same E2EE standard
of DMs and GDMs

2. Voice Servers can be part of instances - clients will need to negotiate which one to use. This may then leak IP info to home instances

next up would be getting this back to my backend and figuring out how i should attach reasoning to emojis in db unless i go and start changing the mod db columns again (subject_type and subject are messing me up, i realized that im gonna need to distinguish between appeals and reports bwaa)

im close to actually making it possible to apply labels to emoji records and getting it back to my backend, this took so long and im happy its reaching this point bonus moderation ui screenshot:

Emoji review ui with 3 segments:
- record panel on the left
- decision panel with reasoning text field and label selection on the right
- actions below them (acknowledge/submit labels, save for later, give draft to another moderator, discard draft)
