happy Monday friends! 💖 tl;dr is I'm moving my regular Monday streams from noon to 5pm EST for the next little while as a test to free up more of my time and help me fight burnout from work. so I'll see yall in a little less than 7 hours 💖

a discord message from sharlit that reads:

@Sharlitans
Hi friends, happy Monday! 💖I wanted to write this over the weekend but unfortunately work kept me too busy.

It’s been just over 4 months since I moved, and its been a huge change for me. While its absolutely been a change for the better, Ive found it difficult to keep up with my old schedule. In my old living situation, my midday streams were a good excuse to keep myself in my room away from our roommate, but now that my partner and I are on our own, we have much more freedom to spend our days together, working on our home projects or running errands.

My work schedule has also changed substantially over the summer, where they have me consistently working to the maximum of my contract hours and sometimes even beyond that, which means Im always working 5 days in a row instead of the usual 4 or sometimes even 3 I used to deal with. Not having any rest days throughout the week has been a massive contributor to me starting to feel burnt out, especially with me also trying to focus on youtube content as well.

So, going forward I want to try out a slightly different streaming schedule. I’ll be going live today at 5:00 PM, and I’m going to try that out for the next little while going forward. Im hoping that evening streams will free up more of my day for other important tasks and also let me sleep in a bit more on my day off. I know that for a lot of yall this will put streams quite late into the night, and I’m really sorry about that. Ultimately I do really want to be able to stream multiple times throughout the week, hopefully at times that work for everyone. Maybe once my work schedule begins to ease up. Thank you all so much for continuing to support me through all of this, I hope one day my schedule can be actually stable :churlot_heart:
