PSA: if you want to create mockups for iPhone Duo inside screen, the frames from Apple expect a screen resolution of 2007×2853 for the inner screen. This is larger than the actual resolution of the inner screen. Seems like they are rendering as if inner display was 460ppi like the outer screen.

Of course built-in support for these frames and new device models will be released very shortly, hopefully before Monday!That will just give you nicer variant picking. …and before anybody asks, no Apple have not released any new Apple Watch frames yet. We're monitoring the situation, as always.

We'll disable the feature in the next release, hoping it or an equivalent service will return. Meanwhile, using Shareshot to create images from X posts remains a great free (in cost and hassle) way to share posts from the bad place. Just paste the URL and you're done! No screenshot required.

Sadly it seems XCancel have had to suspend their service until Space Karen's lawyers can be dealt with. Nothing screams strength and integrity like legal intimidation! Sorry this means the new XCancel feature will not produce valid links for now. Clearly Shareshot 2's use of it was the last straw

Announcement from XCancel: On Monday 24th August at 8PM EST, we received at letter from X Corp. asking to cease and desist the service XCancel.
The service XCancel is stopped until further notice.
We are seeking legal advice and won't share more details for now.
Thank you for the trust you have put in these two years of XCancel.

IMPROVED IN THIS BUILD

* Massive improvements to Magic Import text styles, line spacing and sizing fixed, italic always gives you italic etc.

* Better layouts for Magic Import cards generated for Apple Music, Podcasts and YouTube links.

* Lighting selector whimsy is now turned up to 11.

* Privacy focus highlight and animation refined.

* Where possible filenames provided from pasted content will be used.

* The stroke on the session status indicator (yellow/green thing) is now complete.

FIXED IN THIS BUILD

* Background picker scrolling was getting stuck/jittering on macOS.

* Pan/zoom performance and rubber-bandin has been improved when editing style settings on iPhone/compact iPad UI.

* Creating new images from text inside an existing session could sometimes have a long delay / double-import them.

* Sharing links direct from Apple Music and parsing links from macOS Apple Music now works.

* Small image resolution warning now shows at the correct time, and previews that are < 100% scale display at the correct size now.

* Crops and other edits made to images in Photos were not being respected when imported into Shareshot (you’d get the original image).

* The macOS sidebar button would disappear on re-opening the app when a window was restored.
