[Early 2024] Do goblins like their natural size difference? Under debate.

[2023] I was really busy today so I forgot to post today's... I don't know "Archivetober" I've been doing. These are a couple of really old standee-TFs from when I was practicing flattening/inanimate TF. Kitana and IQ.

[Feb. 2024] Gerudo Link and Raiden (MGS) as dolls. Twinks can only be turned into dolls, not action figures, I don't make the rules.

[Early 2024] It's a rite of passage as an artist to make a goblin, then put them in situations.

[March 2024] Hifumi (Persona 5) as a painting and a chair. I like painting TFs, but I think they're more fun when you use a more abstract style for them.

If you're curious I ended up adding some thoughts to these on the FA submissions, which I've added here with alt text.

Text reads: Throughout 2024 I did a lot of practice flats like this one to explore how to best depict it. It eluded me for a while. This is Hifumi from Persona 5, in a generic wall-flattening.

Text reads: Continuing on my notes from Practice Flat 1, this is an attempt at an above angle with partial flattening. You can see that the tail is bushier at the end, while her boots are round and point up. While the depth is conveyed properly in the unflattened parts, the parts that *are* flattened don't have enough detail. Something like tire treads, spreading (like how clay spreads when pressed), or even just a more uneven topology would have communicated the goal better. Carmelita Fox from Sly Cooper.

Text reads: Continuing my notes from 1 and 2... this is an "on the wall" flat with a couple of things attempted. First, the flattened subject has a little bit of depth to them. I found that this was the easiest way to draw flattened subjects as "paper thin" is hard for me to draw, even when they're not pinned to a wall. The lack of depth from the "paper thin" variant tends to look more like a graffiti style where the character is simply splayed out, rather than the intended effect. Translating it into a 3D space is easier but not my specialty. Hence the "thick-flat", which is a variation that can vary in thickness by artist. This is also a test of that "spreading out" when being smooshed.

Later in the year than the rest, this concludes my 4-part lecture across all of the Practice Flat scraps. This is an off-the-wall flat, utilizing a slight thickness that still conveys flatness. This was partially also a test of how to depict the hands and feet when flattened totally, as well as the breasts being flattened into distinct discs on the body. This would have been a top-down flattening (see the back foot), which was then peeled up. It's not spread out + peeled off, I don't think I've actually done that type before.

[2024] Old flattening practices throughout the year of 2024. Focusing on understanding it better - flattened but off the wall, flattened from different angles, the spreading out that occurs (like clay, etc). I'm much better at it now but it took time to figure out.

[April - May 2024] Going to try to use October to post a lot of oldies that are trapped in the vault, since I'm focusing on client slots and busy IRL these days. Small trivia: Almost every Baiken in my galleries were drawn in the same 2-3 week period in 2024, including these.

Trying another adopt: Kel J. "KC" Curtis, aging albino bat and general aviation enthusiast. Comes with nude variant and writeup. 100 for the summer, but subject to rise again afterwards. Anyone who snags him is also eligible for the discounts in my pinned!

An albino bat dressed like an airline pilot with a bomber jacket stands with a front and back view. His name is Kel J. "KC" Curtis. His description reads that he is 45-50, Male, "Hefty", 5'10", and an albino bat.

His "About Kel" section reads: Kel is passionate about aviation. While he's a war vet, he never saw much action, and spent most of his time getting all-time records on his practice runs. He might average a few words a week and one facial expression a month.
