🇳🇿😺 I love when he curls up like this. He's completely sound asleep and snoring 😍 (His fur is still growing back where he was shaved by the vet. I'm intrigued by how light his fur is at the roots!)

🇳🇿🐱 It's been a rough couple of weeks with Chico's diabetes diagnosis, but he's starting to feel more himself. After he ripped off the second monitor, I said enough. He was clearly unhappy and at some point, his overall wellbeing needs to be considered. Here he is not fitting, or sitting - but happy.

🇳🇿🐱 I got the CGM for Chico. I got about 3 hours sleep between worrying about him, him being 🤬 that he can't go out, me checking his 'vest' isn't too tight under his armpits... We are now vest free & he seems much happier all round ❤️ and yes, he doesn't seem to care about the injections! Thanks all 😊

🇳🇿🐱 Chico Marx has been drinking more, so took him to the v-e-t today. His tests came back as diabetes, but we've caught it early, so that's good?! Poor wee guy. But it is treatable, so we'll both have to learn a new routine. Hopefully injections are easier than getting tablets into him!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽
