Our house is in something of a state of chaos. I was gone, and I do most of the hometending because the kids, 20 and 23, work away from home. And a pipe burst in the cold snap; 23 just jury-rigged a solution. But here is something beautiful to start my day.

Today, I am worried about a dear friend dealing with a medical crisis. For my country, which is dealing with a crisis of autocracy. Remembering my husband, who had a terminal diagnosis Thanksgiving 2017. It is a time to cherish what is good and beautiful . I woke up to our first snow.

I had a dream that our formerly feral cat Squeak, caught and ate a squirrel in the house. It was graphic. Went to bed late and slept over 8 hours .. maybe that's why? Could have done without that though. And now, time to get to my day. Doing 4 days of client care in 3 this week!
