Well creators using Kickstarter, I guess Im at the end of support. Not because of a lack of funding, but the last 2 projects Ive backed have decided not to ship to Canada. I'll put my money elsewhere.

Spider-Man Brand New Day was good, but the audience ruined the experience. Be it the toddler who whined through the entirety of the movie, the dude with the strobe light when his phone rang, or the kids kicking arpund the $35 tin bucket they bought... the 2026 theatre experience isn't my thing.

I think the documentary filmed at the same time was my introduction to Buster Keaton. There's a scene where Keaton knows the timing for a rail car to stop. He reaches out at the last second monitor looks like he just gives it a tug to stop it from moving. Genius!

I said, as the Stanley Finals started, that Marner was winning the Smythe no matter what. My son doesnt believe me as he says the losing team doesnt get it (even though he's witnessed that happening twice). Also, I'm not watching the game as the team I'd prefer seems to lose when I watch.

We did 3 trips in 2024 that we called our "American Farewell Tour." In 2025, we did did all our travels in Canada. For 2026, Canada and Europe. No reason to head to the U.S. any decade soon.

Watched a family (3 generations) argue with the waitress at lunch because the waitress said they dont take reservations. Family insisted they called ahead. The family later also mentioned they had no idea what the name of the restaurant was. Stupidity is everywhere.
