I was only 14 and going to middle school at the time of the terrorist attacks in New York City. Sure I may have been in the middle of the Pacific, but the fear of something happening here in Hawai'i was real. Just thinking one day changed literally EVERYTHING.

And here I was hoping that WWE would ACTUALLY give Sami a good title run but apparently since they were in Chicago (nothing against Chicago), they HAD to give the title to Punk. I guess WWE really does view Sami as someone who doesn't belong in the main event picture.

I'm sorry for all of you pulling for Qatar in this game ... there is no hope for you at this point. Pure Canadian domination. #WorldCup2026

Burning Star IV ... hands down, one of the best albums I've heard EVER!

I honestly don't get why Hawks fans are mad at the Jadarian Price pick ... its a great pick! I trust Schneider's decision making and feel that we will have a repeat performance of last season. WE WILL RUN IT BACK TO THE SHIP!! #GoHawks!

Okay, Kristi Noem is gone. My hope is that Trump doesn't replace her with someone far worse than her.

Not gonna lie ... 39 still feels the same as 38. Let's see what this trip around the sun brings me.

I understand all the "proceed with caution" jokes aimed at Jimmy but you cannot help but be happy for them. They have tried to get pregnant for so long and Trin had fertility issues in the past so they thought it wouldn't be possible.

Another Tsunami Watch has been issued for Hawaii ... is it me or is this the second time Russia had a massive quake?

I admit, celebrating the 4th of July used to be a thing for me. As a kid growing up, I was taught to celebrate the birthday of America with fireworks, family and BBQ. Now that I'm older and realize what the significance of this day is as a Native Hawaiian, I got mixed feelings about it.

Not gonna lie, hearing that the 💩 of a bill passed the House is a sad state of affairs. We are cooked.

As someone who watched Food Network just solely for their cooking competition shows, Anne Burrell was one of my favorite celebrity chefs to watch. Crazy that she just was on that "House Of Knives" 1st season. May she rest in peace.

Prayers to the ohana affected by that house fire in Waimanalo. Any fire in the islands is devastating, but when it's in your own community, it hits much harder.

I'm sorry, but RFK Jr. as the secretary of Health And Human Services is a health hazard in itself.

How was McKinley a great president? He was the very one who allowed Hawai'i to be annexed illegally!!

38 revolutions around the sun .... sure the reality of how quickly hitting 40 came the moment I woke up this morning, but I'm blessed to be living and still be able to share moments with friends and loved ones. May this trip around be kind.

Okay, I understand the hate behind Charlotte winning the women's Rumble ... but why hate on Jey, though? The guy literally deserves the spot. Clearly over with the fans, not to mention the fact the guy is a merch seller! Ya'll just need to let Triple H cook!

Okay ... when TikTok said they were going dark, I thought they were going to start today, January 19th. No one told me they were going to start on the 18th! This is what happens when you live in Hawai'i. Not for nothing, though. I'm not mad at the fact that it went dark.

Well, the law banning Tik Tok has been upheld. Thing is though with Biden saying he won't enforce the law on Sunday ... I guess the ball will now be in the court of president whose name rhymes with bump.

Okay... so SCOTUS might be giving an opinion ... or a ruling on Tik Tok today? For those who, like me, are frequent users of the app, I suggest we collectively cross our fingers.

The fact that Linda McMahon got picked to head up the Dept of Education is wild to me! A lady who LITERALLY took the worst looking Stone Cold Stunner EVER and got a Tombstone on the Monday Night RAW stage is gonna be responsible for schools all across the country. What timeline are we living in?
