Here's my question friends: When was the original "Limited Appetite Treatment list" generated? BMO won't tell me, and says that on the list of ten only steel and aluminum are tariff-impacted. Farming, transport, construction, manufacturing, etc. they claim are not tariff-impacted industries. /4

A memo from one of Canada's Big Five banks (BMO) announced last week that it would tighten lending rules for the self-employed in ten "high-risk" industries. The memo is attached below, and my story on the impact of this change - which would apply to hundreds of thousands of Canadians - is next 1/

But if you were to combine the progressive vote in each riding, strategically, you might get something like this: smartvoting.ca/ontariodashb...

When you look at polling aggregators like 338 you see the results don’t mirror the popular vote: 338canada.com/ontario/

Explain yourself NYTimes!!! You accept “mofo”, but not “bitchier”? Admittedly, I work too blue for the Letter Boxed puzzle, but if we’re going to accept shortened motherfucker’s we should accept enhanced bitches.

Pretty clear that OpenAI has been scraping The Globe and others, this example pulled from CoPilot on Microsoft Edge shows the company is pulling in Globe stories into its results.
CoPilot prompt about Ian Brown's most popular articles. Ian Brown has written many compelling stories for The Globe and Mail. Here are three of his most popular:

"The Boy in the Moon": This deeply personal series explores Ian Brown's life with his son, Walker, who has a rare genetic disorder. The series was later expanded into a book that received widespread acclaim1.

"Saving Hope": This three-part series provides an inside look at Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital, detailing the challenges and triumphs of the medical staff and patients. It was so impactful that it inspired a TV series1.

"Riding the Greyhound through America’s Swing States": In this recent piece, Ian Brown travels through key U.S. swing states, capturing the political and social climate leading up to the election2.

These stories showcase Ian Brown's ability to blend personal narrative with broader social issues, making his work both engaging and thought-provoking. If you're interested in more of his work, you can find it on The Globe and Mail's website12.
