I know plenty of people don’t agree with this, and years ago I wouldn’t have either, but: It is not a huge deal that somebody you’ve never met in real life doesn’t/hasn’t responded to something you’ve sent them. It’s okay if somebody you follow has never had a conversation with you.

Whenever I train a new employee I always start out with “I know what they told you to say in training, but you have to meet people where they are.” Reciting the script full of medical terms loses the average person in about 9 words.

As an adult, I still want super powers like I used to imagine when I was a kid, but it wouldn’t be for doing shit. It would be for stuff to make my life more convenient. Like being able to emit an invisible force field to keep flies, mosquitoes & gnats away from me when I’m sitting on the patio.
