So in my WIP, the villain is an unknown he wears a featureless metal mask to hide himself. He doesn't have a name. I'm running out of ways to refer to him. I can't type "Masked Man" without the Lone Ranger theme song playing in my head. Then I lose it and crack up "Who was that masked man?"

The problem with writing 3rd person omniscient is that I not only have to keep track of whose head I'm in but also which character knows what and ensure that when a character reaches a conclusion or reveals a portion of the plot they HAVE the knowledge to do so. rewrite... rewrite...rewrite
