Here it is, the whole John Oliver soap opera shebang! What this means is that next year for the Daytime Emmys, John Oliver can run against himself, in the Guest category We can speculate on whether he will cancel himself out. So, there you have it another Emmy singularity.

#GH I began watching in 1993 with Riche/Labine. Right now I am doing a rewatch with editing Nov. 1995. It's a work in progress. BITD I was online, of course, but I had been tradtionally a NBC baby & I knew GH fans but they all had a point of view, or agenda, so I did not ask questions. Now I am.

So a weird thing happened when I watched Fri. & then edited. I used the whole show, in 4 separate edits. No opening, no commercials, there was no Curtis ASSford to delete. But, to get Tracy, to get Justine, to get Kristina hilariously trying not to say good-bye & to get BLQ in her new devious mode.

So, what was the huge moment of soap irony on Friday's show? Right off the bat, BLQ said, "Throwing around the Quartermaine name would have made it risky to ask questions about Delilah." We know they were getting nowhere until Ava name-dropped the Quartermaine & its status, wealth, etc.
