Quantum of Solace

Letterboxd review by moi.
Rewatched in November 23rd, 2024.
3.5 out of five stars and liked it.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’s spiritual successor and calmest Eva Green crash out. If this is ever remade, Park Chan-Wook should be the one.

At some point I stopped counting the bullets and enjoyed the revenge plot.

This movie is not supposed to be fun and yet the third act is at its Bondest with the classic compound explosion sequence. The pieces are still there.

What a terrifying prospect to die by your deepest fear, right after accomplishing your life goal.

Also, fuck whomever fucks with water.
