In the 1990s Derwood Andrews had a chance to meet and see #moondog live in London. They took a photo, left to right its Derwood, Moon, and Max & Fae Stephenson. This same photo is the one that Julian #Calv first contacted #Derwood about, sparking our collaborative friendship. #trimba #musicsky

#shagbarn began when Julian Calv sent a collection of #trimba beats to Derwood Andrews. Derwood's additions to the beats created the harmonic foundation of each song. With a good amount of back and forth, and Derwood's production skills, Solid Gold Timepiece was forged. #derwood #calv #musicsky

Hey #musicsky Hear the sounds of Julian Calv on "Pagan Dancing" by @shagbarn from our upcoming #vinyl album Solid Gold Timepiece. #calv is a trimbist who studied with Louis Hardin's (Moondog's) protege Stefan Lakatos. The #moondog devotee contributes a distinct rhythmic texture to #shagbarn
