The bit that particularly gave me pause about that one is… how many synagogues are there? Sure, some places, you probably have options for what specific flavour you attend. Not sure that’s true everywhere. It’s not even true everywhere in CoE re: things like women priests.

I’m hearing some suggestion that this was perhaps not a consistent response — that there were a lot more than just one person saying “enjoy the camps” to trans people and not all were actioned? If that’s the case it’d worth both reviewing those decisions and considering the distress in light of it.

I thought the thread as a whole made it pretty clear that it *was* banned, just that they drew a distinction between “enjoy the camps” and “send to camps” re: harassment vs threat. (But both moderated.) It’s just the tweet in the middle didn’t make that clear by itself, unfortunately.

It… doesn’t have to? Your claim was that *the thread* suggested it was acceptable to say that to trans people. The thread makes it clear it isn’t. The post only clarifies the specific language that would take it from “toxic harsssment (and modded)” to “threat (also modded)”. Either way unacceptable.
