Being on the night shift at home is weird. The apartment is quiet but I find myself wandering the halls checking on both kids periodically. The whole house is sick. This cold and flu season has kicked our ass

Yesterday was our baby girls first birthday. She has grown so much that I will miss early morning cuddles when she has settled to not needing babas I was never prepared by my parents to be a parent so these moments of realizations hit me hard. I love my kids all of them

Last night I was struggling with my current Lego build(Jango Fetts fire spray). My partner without realizing my trauma of being denied/discouraged from Legos came up to me and instead of telling me to stop started helping me and gave me time to process what my brain was reacting to

Welp I can say it. The Dungeon Crawler Carl series rescued me from a deep reading slump. I had read two of the books last year and from September of this year I started back up with The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook and finished The Butcher’s Masquerade last night. #bookSky 📚💙📚🎧📚🪐📚
