ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 27/09/2026A fun little biro drawing of three fish made using a few different references on Unsplash. Technically, this drawing isn't quite finished yet because I'm yet to add in the background colour but I can't seem to settle on how I want to do it. #art #drawing #biro #fish 060
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 13/09/2026A cute little duckling drawn in biro and made using a reference from Unsplash. I think this little duck is cute and I enjoyed every step of drawing them. I know their leg is a little too long but I figured that it's fine. #art #drawing #biro #animals #duck 040
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 30/08/2026A pencil portrait of a girl holding a teddy bear made using a reference on Unsplash. I managed to complete this drawing surprisingly quickly and would have finished a lot quicker if I hadn't spent so much time grumbling over the bear. #art #drawing #pencil #realism #portrait 051

ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 09/08/2026A biro portrait of a person made using a reference on Pinterest. I absolutely loved doing this drawing and I love the end result even more. I think they look so cool and I love how expressive they are! #art #drawing #biro #portrait 050

ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 28/06/2026A pencil drawing of a bird made using a reference on Unsplash. ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 21/06/2026A biro portrait of a woman and a couple of gardenias made using a few different photos from Unsplash. This drawing was simple but fun and as silly as it may be, I love the little flowers around the corners being on flaps. #art #drawing #ballpointpen #portrait #flowers 071
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 07/06/2026A biro portrait of two people based on a reference I found on Unsplash. This drawing was a little challenging and a bit intimidating when it came to shading certain areas, but it was fun overall and it helped me target and improve on some of my weaker areas. #art #drawing #ballpointpen #portrait 070

ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 05/04/2026A biro portrait of a person made using a reference from Pinterest. I tried using the blue/green combination again and I think it worked a lot better this time around. I think using a second darker blue added the depth and contrast that was missing. #art #drawing #ballpointpen #portrait 040
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 23/03/2026A biro drawing of a dog made using a reference on Pinterest. This was a fun and relatively easy drawing that I got done quite quickly. #art #drawing #ballpointpen #animal #dog 080

ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 04/03/2026A biro drawing of some of my mother's flowers. Everytime I do draw them though, I'm reminded of how fun they are. #art #drawing #ballpointpen #flowers 081

ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 15/02/2026A biro Portrait of a woman made using a few different references on Pinterest. Apparently I learned nothing from drawing the lace collar on the shirt of the girl holding the tomatoes. #art #drawing #ballpointpen #portrait 080
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 11/02/2026A biro Portrait of a very fluffy cat made using a reference on Pinterest. ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 01/02/2026A biro Portrait of a young girl holding tomatoes made using a reference on Pinterest. This drawing was fun to make but I hated doing the pleated section of the dress: I lost track of my lines and put things in the wrong place and struggled as a consequence. #art #drawing #ballpointpen #portrait 0110

ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 05/01/2026A biro sketch of a person holding a sparkler made using a reference on Pinterest. I had fun making this and I like the little bits I added with ink. I was on the fence about whether or not to use ink or just pens if anything at all, but I figured the ink would work best for the sparkler. #Art 020
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 31/12/2025Casper has a bad little habit of stealing other people's food, he most frequently steals Creven's food. (Casper did have his own pastry but he scoffed it and now wants a bite of Creven's) #art #drawing #OC 020
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 15/12/2025While I was stuck on a different drawing of these three, I drew these little versions of them building snowmen of themselves because I needed a break and thought it'd be fun, and it was. (I have no idea why the colours, especially the oranges, look so washed out in the photograph) #Art #Drawing #OC 050
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 30/11/2025This is a drawing of my OC named Susie and she is a friend to two of my other OC's Casper and Creven. She's an absolute sweetheart and I enjoy drawing her doing little things like picking flowers. #Art #Drawing #OC 090
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 16/11/2025Biro sketch of a person based on a reference I found on Pinterest. This was my first time attempting to do this hair style in this way and I don't like how I did it (although it looks a little less bad in person). Any tips on how to draw this kind of hair would be greatly appreciated! #Art #Drawing 031
ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 06/11/2025This is a drawing of one of my OC's called Chloe, she exists in the same world as another OC of mine called Drea. ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 31/10/2025For the last prompt of the Actually Infected Challenge, Weathered, I have these little clay things I made. ShadowRose Arts @shadowrosearts.bsky.social · 27/10/2025For Prompt 9 of the Actually Infected Challenge, Scribbled out, I drew my OC's Casper and Creven.
