I had a double Dunkin’ day! Mom is crazy busy with work so we went super early so she could get coffee. We did sharesies with an egg/cheese wrap. Then later, I went to do errands with Dad and we stopped at a different Dunkin’. He gave me some bacon. Score! Best way to start Mon.!

They drove 3h each way there/back ea day, too. They left at 3A Sat. + got back at 10P, then hubro left again at 2A Sun. and is just getting back now (10P). This weekend was…a lot. We had worried ears, but now our ears are proud. We’re all happy waggy that they’re safe + it was a success!

EXCITING NEWS‼️Hubro lead TWO hikes this weekend + summited 3 of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks! (He’s now done 5 total.) Sat. a group climbed 8 miles up 2 peaks+a 4 mile walk below then Sun. a group climbed 12 miles up another peak. They’re on their way back now-zorsted but happy.

That’s great! Last year, it took Mom weeks to get all the remnants cleaned out of the car so this year our pumpkins are on a wood crate instead of a hay bale and, so far, there’s no corn stalk on our lamp post. 😐

We just passed through Hyde Park and drove through the grounds of the Vanderbilt mansion. It was designed by McKim, Mead & White and built btw 1896-99 for Frederick William Vanderbilt (grandson of Cornelius) + his wife, Louise. It’s really big!

I went on a super sniffari! We were going to Rhinebeck, NY for a country living festival but it turned out to be a big fairgrounds event w no doggos so we went to Hudson + walked in town. I met doggos+people+stopped for all the best sniffs + I MAY have peed on a pretty pumpkin.

So far so good! We went to our favorite local cafe for breakfast and I got tastes of bacon, egg, cheese and brioche - yum! It’s such a pretty day that M+D put their “to do” list aside and decided we’re going on an adventure instead. This sounds promising. Stay tuned for pupdates!

I stood very still behind this plant while Mom said “Augie, come!” hoping she wouldn’t see me + I could stay in the water, but then she said “Now!” and the good boy in me responded - but, I shook hard as I got to her so she got soaked. Serves her right for training me so well! 😂

We went to the lake today and I got to do swimmies! I also snoopervised getting things ready for guests. Cousin Lauren is coming from PA for the weekend. I luffs her. We won’t see her this time, but she’s bringing frens to celebrate her birthday so I think she’ll have fun w/o me.
