I love my daughter, and I love mermaids. Drawing her is the best. I love my baby (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈) #WIP #rkgk

I didn't think the animation looked quite right, so I gave it a little update today. I think it looks much better now! 😊 #Live2DWIP #WIP #rkgk

Which one looks better, the original or the updated version? I’d really like to know (* ´ ﹃｀) The original The updated

This one doesn’t look that good, actually. 😭

Also, a video of me drawing the eyes 👀

000

ShadowIR @shadowir.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

When I first saw this eye art style, I was really impressed. So I experimented with it on stream to improve my own style. I’m really glad I could look deeper into each layer and understand the decisions behind it. It was really helpful !!! Credits to x.com/zelll_desu for the artwork!

The first mermaid daughter I ever drew and the latest mermaid daughter I drew. I can’t believe I’m the same person who drew both of them 😭 June 5th, 2024 September 3rd, 2026

A truly special child, born from the idea of an unbelievably harsh environment, with death in her hands and a boss theme song I absolutely love. She is the embodiment of everything this song makes me feel. Designing her has been such a special experience.

2h 46min just for the eyes. I’m unbeatable at being slow

Didn't change her design much today, but the silhouette is looking pretty decent rn :3 #WIP #rkgk

Ngl, I was pretty lazy for most of those 6 hours on stream, just taking little breaks, looking for references, and eating snacks.

000

ShadowIR @shadowir.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I know I haven't finished drawing Atheria yet, but I have this urge to draw a new mermaid daughter using my newly upgraded skills and process. I haven't even finished designing her, but after 6 hours of continuous drawing on stream, I have to call it a day 😘😵 #vtuber #WIP #rkgk

Done with today’s testing. My assumptions weren’t entirely right, but it was a good learning experience and helped me figure out what not to do. 😄

ShadowIR @shadowir.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I had a dream yesterday where I saw this strange phenomenon that could drag people into darkness through water. A random elderly person in the dream called it Atheria. I thought the name was really cool and fit my daughter’s theme, so I decided I’m gonna name her Atheria. 😍

My daughter’s looking at me like she’s judging her dad for being too lazy to draw because he’s busy grinding Genshin

Grinding hard for my wife, Vodyanitsa ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ

ShadowIR @shadowir.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

When I came back to Genshin, I thought everything would be boring, like the Sumeru story quest when I left. But after coming back and playing through the Snezhnaya story, I was like, "This is so peak." Even after 6 hours of playing, I still crave more. 🤯✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

ShadowIR @shadowir.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Today’s try was even worse, omg 😭

I need to conduct more experiments for the perfect birth of my next daughter. I know I’m getting there!!!

I’m trying to take my hair-rendering technique one step further. If I can pull it off, I hope my next daughter’s hair will be my best yet ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ #WIP #rkgk
