After completing another run of Final Fantasy 8 what do I think? Wail regarded as the black sheep it's still one of the best games in the series and on PS1. 1/6 #FinalFantasy #NintendoSwitch

Tonberry no. Don't, don't stab there.

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

So what's my next game? Actually I'm already in the middle of it. Went back to my favorite game Final Fantasy VIII agian and this is the first time I've obtained Tonberry before the end of disc 2 as I go back for them before the end. #FinalFantasy #NintendoSwitch

If I do have to complain about something. This story isn't nearly as strong as the Spider Man games and some of the additional nightmare door challenges were a bit on the easy side. Also the only Hugh Jackman suit in the game is the Deadpool and Wolverine one. 7/8

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I know some people don't like the games scent trails but aside from the fact that's always been part of Logan's powers I never felt they were hand holding as this is a family linear game even without them. 6/8

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I also like how for there story Insomniac actually pulled something that was hinted upon about Logan's orgin from the comics but was never followed therw on. We also fight almost every major foe from Logan's Rouges gallery without things feeling to bloated. 5/8

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Next up is Something newer. Marvel and Insomniac's #Wolverine Now I know this is a hot take but this game isn't bad and is more or less what I expected from Insomniac's take on the character. It has one of the better stories out of all these wolverine games and the action is topped notch 4/8

Now I played the royal edition which added a whole new final level featuring one of more interesting antagonist in this game compared to the other palace rulers. 2/ 8

Been Awhile since i've done one of these so you get a double. First up finished Persona 5 Royal for the first time. I can see why this is a favorite with a likeable cast and sense of style with a story that still relevant even 10 years later. 1/8 #Persona5 #PS5Share

As a Star Wars Fan its Jedi Outcast. On paper this should be my kinda game. It's based on my favorite film franchise. It's a sequel to Dark Forces, and makes peoples best star wars games list, but i've tried playing it two separate times and it just never clicked with me.

Decided to go Back to #Doom3 and play the two Expansions starting with resurrection of Evil which you can tell was made when they were trying to compete with Half-Life 2 as it opens up with we have the Gravity Gun at home. #NintendoSwitch

Just Finished #Doom Eternal. For the record this is only going to cover my thoughts on the main campaign and not The Ancient gods expansions as I don't own those. This was another stellar experience with the action and levels sill being top notch much like the last game. 1/4 #PS5Share

Normally I object but i'm busy back on earth fighting Demons so its up to you to keep Space safe.

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

I didn't play the two expansions yet but i'll probably tackle those next before moving on to the other classic entrys on my list. Amulette: Our final verdict is 8 more retellings of fighting demons on Mars out of 10. 4/4

000

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Most of Mars Base environments are kinda blad and samey though the ancient ruins later in the game are very interesting and help break that up a bit. Gunplay and enemy variety is soild but I can see why this games version of the Shotgun is criticized. 3/4

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Funny thing is this game is much closer to Half-Life then it is to any of the other entrys in the series, past or present. It also leans more so into the horror aspect of the series giving it a very unique feel. 2/4

Since the update patch for Doom Eternal took about eight hours I decided to fire up my #NintendoSwitch and knock another Doom Game off my list with #Doom3 this is one i've been wanting to play for awhile ever since reading early previews for it so a playthrough was wayyyyy overdue. 1/4

@danger1652.bsky.social how did we end up in a new season of king of the hill?

010

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Oh yeah, i'm loading up Enternal right now so I can see for myself but I pretty much was using the super shotgun for everything until it ran out of ammo.

110

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

If I have any minor nitpicks it's were the game ends as I thought for sure there was going to be another level but instead comes to a full stop but at least it dose a good job setting up things to come. Amulette: This Umbra gives it ten super shotguns out of ten. ( shots gun) Ow!

Shadowgear and Amulette @shadowgear.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Just finished #Doom 2016 out of my backlog and hot dang this is how you do a modern version of this game. You always feel overpowered even when combat gets intense. The weapons and environments are awesome all to an excellent soundtrack. #XboxShare
