This material is beautiful. A very colorful piece broke free along a strip of unstable grey stuff along the metallic material early on in the shaping but it's still an amazing piece. #gems #art #handmade

Shaping it took a while. Now to do more polishing. Not sure if I want to do a brooch or a pendant yet. Rock identifier says with 85% certainty it is Ocean Jasper but I have my doubts, regardless of what it is I think its beautiful. #handmade #art #jewelery

The chrysocholla I've mainly found looks like this but the earring pieces were so small I didn't have much to go by for identification, along with my limited knowledge of the wide variety of gems and minerals out there.

Took a risk and shaped the hidden side instead of the exposed side from the saw cut and I think it really paid off. It just got prettier the longer I ground material away. If anyone knows the type of stone please share. (I found it hiking in Arizona)
