Of course, it's worth noting everyone draws differently, some of these issues I'm having aren't even fathomable in some art styles, I am just someone who is still learning, and I must take note of what I can, and jot down what I can. I only write these down publicly so that anyone who decides-

...And another thing, going to be blunt here, that face is just drawn so awfully, and he looks like he was drawn by some emo kid in the 2010's, trying to be creepy. But everything aside, I think I can try harder on my next piece whenever that comes, now that I've learned so much.

- I need to get better at shaping and defining objects, that satchel looks a lot like a blob or anomalous object, I failed to give it the right look. - Reference sheets need solid color. All this shading and texturing makes it hard to color pick, which means it'll be harder for others to draw him.

- When coloring and detailing, I should try learning how to paint and use new brushes instead of scribbling all the time. - I should also learn how to make a larger variety of textures and surfaces, everything in this drawing has the same texture which obviously makes no sense whatsoever.

I've definitely made many different mistakes in this artwork, but here's what I've learned from them. 🧵 - Clothing should not be an "overlay" on the body, I should've made it entirely replace the body layer when in use, It distorts the proportions and makes unreasonably bulky spots in some cases.

Spent the longest time yet while drawing this. Learned a lot. Meet one of my new OCs, Dread, who is capable of manipulating the minds of those experiencing fear. Creepy, no? I've spent days trying to draw this while also studying everything in detail. More on that in the replies.

[From my Twitter] I am studying to draw slugcats better. Though I clearly need more practice, haha! It is still fun to draw, nevertheless, even if my creations are pretty... "shabby". I need to really analyze the slugcat shape still, cause I got lost/confused in many aspects while drawing him.

Alright screw it, I have to start somewhere and at some point! Learning art, and I drew my custom slugcat cuz... idfk, but feel free to call it shitty as much as you want tho. It's a fitting title for my art at the moment anyway, not gonna lie Done in Adobe Fresco, for the few who care.
