With The Final Fantasy XV collab back in XIV, we thought it would be nice to get members of the Guild taking pictures with Noctis. The Shinobi take a group pic, while our #CosplayerofLight takes a selfie with another off-worlder #ShadowCatStudios #FFXIVGPOSE #GPOSE #FFXIV #GPOSER

If it's before he has is "experience" and starts training, yeah R'iku would be a playful kitten

The main 2 were extensions of OC's for other fandoms. Tenebrae being a Keyblade Wielder, and R'iku originally just being an OC from a story I wrote

R'iku, by technicality, is a Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te. However, he is half-Miqo'te half Midlander Hyur, with his mom being a Hyur from Doma.

R'iku already thinks he hears voices, so yeah he's keeping the talking weapon. Now, it's a matter of if the weapon annoys his friendsa and they make him get rid of it lol

As we wait to start work, a thought occurred to us. As we are working on getting shoots done, who would even want a "Tournament of Power" but make it XIV? Like the source and 13 Shards have their own cross shard Tournament like in DB Super? #FFXIV #AU #ShadowCatStudios

R'iku's Echo Ability is actually more combat focused. His Echo allows him to perceive an entire battlefield he's a part of. At first, he thought he was going crazy because he could see someone try and hit him, but they weren't close enough to do so

010

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

R'iku makes Gil in two ways; He either makes his Gil by doing dungeons and quests, or his sister sells his "failed" products. R'iku likes to no brain Goldsmithing, and will make quality goods, but not realize and let his sister sell them as his Retainer.

2nd like, reveals one that has had a bit of growth. Tenebrae, originally a Kingdom Hearts OC, is very much Demi-sexual. Since his ability in and out of Eorzea is that of Empathy, his feelings for his partner is what makes or breaks his attraction. And just recently, he learned he was polyamourus

000

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Our first like unlocks R'iku Takino. By technicality, he is Demi-sexual and polyamourous. However, he doesn't realize until he notices his feelings for his mates.

Both to kinda see how many people actually see my posts, and to run a fun little game for the #ShadowCatStudios, I wanna do a "1 like = 1 fact". And for the month of Pride, we'll focus on my WoLs and OCs in FFXIV that you all know of. Let's see what happens!! #FFXIV #GPOSE #GPOSER

And for the final sahred class, we have Red Mage. R'iku and Naosu pick up the class for different reasons. R'iku picks it up after he sees Alisaie use it in StB. Naosu picks it up both to balance out her Magick, but also because of stories she heard surrounding the Ala Mhigan job

000

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The next canon class shared is the only Magic DPS Mamoru owns. Though Summoner is picked up in Gridania, Arcanist starts in Limsa, where Mamoru convinces the other two to pick up the tome. Though, R'iku can't really read the runes to start

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

And to round out the Ranged classes, R'iku and Naosu both pick up Dancer. R'iku was entranced by the movements and Ranaa Mihgo. Whereas Naosu was impressed by the skills themselves. Both took the training to heart and can put on one hell of a show.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Another HW shared class is that of the Machinist. R'iku picks it up as he is didn't have a ranged option and he likes Stephanivien. Mamoru canonically picks up the class after having interacted with Hilda in Ishgard.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Next we have a class that, canonically, R'iku does not use. Bard is only used by Naosu and Mamoru. Naosu actually becomes a bard and will sing in battle, especially since the class originates from Gridania. Mamoru wields just he bow, choosing to go as an Archer/Hunter.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The only shared class from DT, Viper becomes R'iku main class in game. Mamoru picks it up after hearing the stories of the Viper being protectors. Both boys but heads as they train.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Reaper is the next class, only used by R'iku and Mamoru. R'iku uses it after the events of EW's main story, as a memento of Zenos. Mamoru picks it up shortly after.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Next is another homeland based job. In StB, the trio pick up Samurai to help the Doman Resistance. R'iku does it to match and try to defeat Zenos. Mamoru uses it because he admires Gosetsu. And Naosu picks it up so she isn't left behind and can join the frontlines.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The next class is the one that gives the trio the title of Eorzean Born Shinobi! Each of them have a parent that is a Ninja, who then passed their skills onto their child. Ninja is the class R'iku mains through most his journey, only putting it away for story beats.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The next class shared is the Dragoon. Naosu is actually the first to canonically have this class as a Lancer because of her mother. But R'iku and Mamoru pick it up for HW Post game, with R'iku finding a mate in one of the Dragoons we meet in-game. And yes, Estinien is also a goal for them to beat!

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The next class and first of the DPS classes is Monk. With this being R'iku's original class, he usually fights as a Monk until he has to get serious. Mamoru picked up the class after the trio met Yda. And the Hyur uses it during ShB when he is in the First, before he starts his Gunbreaker training.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Sage is the next class, only shared by R'iku and Naosu. It's one of the few healer classes R'iku uses, choosing to learn it with Alphinaud. Naosu picks it up later and uses Sage through EW alongside Alphinaud.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Next is the only Healer Class shared by the Trio. As a Limsa class, Scholar is the only healing class Mamoru uses. R'iku uses it because it's tied to Arcanist and his first mate, K'lyhia. and Naosu uses it to help heal the Tonberry we meet during the questline.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The next class is the last shared Tank class. Since Gunbreaker was introduced by starting in Gridania, Naosu originally found the pair and told the boys. R'iku trained with Radovan while Mamoru trained with Thancred on the First. All three, though, use their skills to help Bojza

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Next class shared is one only by R'iku and Mamoru. As the party's main tank, Mamoru picked up the claymore to protect his allies. R'iku heard the voice of the abyss shortly after the Bloody Banquet in ARR. However, R'iku uses the class as his main ShadowBringers, becoming the Warrior of Darkness.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The first class shared by the Trio is Gladiator/Paladin. Originally, Naosu wasn't meant to have this class. But eventually, we realized the Light based abilities worked for her. As such, she choose to dress as Gladiator, while R'iku and Mamoru don Ishgardian armor after the events of Heavensward.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

To start off the #ShadowCatJourneys I thought it would be fun to do a little thread about the jobs the trio of R'iku, Naosu, and Mamoru use throughout the game. This will go into HW, StB, ShB, EW, and DT spoilers slightly. But yeah, here are the jobs of the Eorzean Born Shinobi! #FFXIV #FFXIVGPOSE

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

If R'iku ever goes on a proper date, one of his mates has to help him clean up. However, his date would definitely call him smashable.

010

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

My answer depends on when the room is being shared. Using my up to date (7.2ish) timeline, R'iku would share a room with the Twins and G'raha. R'iku doesn't really care about the bed, so the others coild sort that out. But the night will be chaotic

010

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

R'iku's homeland is and will always be Little Ala Mhigo in Thanalan. It was where he was born and raised and where most of his major life happened. He may have gained more places to call home, but his homeland remains the same.

000

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

R'iku rarely has bad moods. When he does, it's best to actually get cuddly with him. The physical contact makes him remember he's loved and cared for

020

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

R'iku comes from a small family, but thinks his is alot bigger. Originally, it was him, his sister and mother, since dad was never meant to be around. But he also had his "aunt" and "cousin" as well.

010

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

As I work on a project, this will be a good thing to actually see! R'iku canonically has 8 NPC wives, and more in AU's and What-ifs. So let's see who you all think he could be with!!! #wolqotd #wolquestion #wolnpc

000

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

We also plan to do AU's and random pictures. Those will be tagged accordingly. The main tag being #ShadowCatStudios. Hopefully we can get some pictures soon to start off this new journey

000

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Hey there Adventurers! We are here and working on some ideas! In fact, since we are able to, we're gonna start working on something of a Travel Journey/Log book of the groups adventures. Under the tag of #ShadowCatJourneys we'll give information and pictures regarding the trios adventure.

100

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

While he was born in Little Ala Mhigo in Thanalan, R'iku calls Ul'dah his home. He actually visits home regularly during his journeys

030

ShadowCat Eorzean Adventures @shadowcatxiv.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

But we also have pictures from the current time, where each child has grown.
