I've noticed that most complaints levied at the Hellaverse over my years in the fandom are very repetitive, very empty and very easy to categorize.

A list of common criticisms of the Hellaverse with photographic examples. It is as follows:

-The audience is expected to read between the lines or think outside of the box.

-The audience is expected to be patient.

- The audience rejects an ostensibly "good" character behaving undesirably

-The audience does not understand that tonal shifts can be intentionally invoked for dramatic or comedic effect

-The audience is presented with a complex situation without a "right" answer or obvious solution

-The audience is presented with new information or otherwise expected to think critically.

The “this Helluva Boss writing can’t be intentional” is starting to borderline on delusion. Instead of accepting that this show MIGHT have competent writing you believe that every good thing must have happened by thoughtless magic as to not reevaluate why you think that way. It’s fascinating.

I love seeing healthy and happy couples in media. They’re not perfect and can have disagreements but still give each other time and space to talk things over and communicate. Also no “jealous of an ex” storylines, no “wife bad jokes” and no domestic violence played for laughs.

People don’t talk enough about Blitz’s people-pleasing tendencies. He acts like he doesn’t care, but the little guy is desperate for validation and approval. As a recovering people-pleaser, I see a lot of myself in him, which makes his pain hit even harder for me. #helluvaboss #helluvaseason3

episode 3 was a litmus test and you all are failing. like everybody is sex-positive until it impacts the popular ship and now everybody's turning into moral guardians scolding Stolas for his "sinful promiscuous ways"

This is still insanely cool to me. What started out as a small indie animation on youtube that barely anyone knew about has blossomed into a full blown mainstream series that gets ads in times square all in the course of 5 years!

Grabbing every TV channel and streaming service by the shoulders and shaking them. Listen to me. LISTEN. Harry Potter is not a Halloween movie. It is not a Christmas movie. Do not have a section called “Spooky October Fun!” and put that fucking wizard in there. Stop it. KNOCK IT OFF.

i can’t fathom how ppl would still think Charlie’s regressing on her S2 development when Lilith returns would be bad writing or OOC ESPECIALLY in the likelihood of Lilith not approving of redemption, the Hotel, and all Charlie’s effort invested in it #charliemorningstar #hazbinhotel

If you’re a fanartist who encourages comments telling you how much more smart and clever you are than the creator, it instantly sours my opinion of your work. I’ve been feeling this for a long time but I’ve been getting more firm over it.
