Seen a few posts about Sir David Attenborough not being able to play Lego any more. It seems Lego noticed this too and put out this new image allowing him to continue using Lego well beyond his centennial! Happy 100th birthday Sir David Attenborough, an absolute national treasure

A promotional image by Lego saying "Updated for you, Sir David" above a box of Lego with the age range updated to 4-100+. There's also a birthday card which says "Happy Birthday Sir David" with a picture of a Lego lion on it

NASA just dropped more than 12,000 photos from the Artemis II mission. It'll take me a few days to go through them all, but so far it's one stunner after another. Link: eol.jsc.nasa.gov/SearchPhotos... Credit: NASA/Artemis II Crew (h/t @jonostrower.com)

my favorite part of people telling us not to eat ultra processed foods is that it always stops there. no suggestions for how to make this a systemic change, no effort to limit availability of ultra processed foods. it's just "you know the food that's everywhere and affordable? stay away from it."

[ First Blood / P11-12] Thanks for reading ♥️ Check #AmongWolves on my profile if you want to see more bits and pieces of Vesper~

Digitally illustrated comic pages in black and white: Page 11. Mikhail's outline, stark black on white, swinging their wooden sword, battering Sara's fiance / aggressor again and again. An ark of blood sprays through the air. Absolute hyper violence. Page 12: Darkness. One panel only showing Sara's frightened, devastated face, blood splatters on her cheek. "I still see her in my dreams. I hope she does not see me in hers." The end.

[ First Blood / P9-10] Apologies for the odd way of breaking pages up, there is simply no good way to deal with bluesky's stupid preview cropping.

Digitally illustrated comic pages in black and white: Page 9 Sara's fiance spots Mikhail and starts to berate them, calling them a freak and telling them to stay out of their business. Mikhail is overwhelmed by the realisation that he is afraid of them, as is everyone around them. Page 10, reality sets in, that this is who they are. They wonder whether they have been made like this by people treating them like a monster or if they've always been like that. Does it matter?

[ First Blood / P1-8] This 12-page comic took far longer than it ever should have but here we finally are: Vespertine's devastating backstory. I've never poured this much time into an OC project before so...this feels very vulnerable??? (pls be nice lol) CW: Child neglect / general violence

Digitally illustrated comic pages in black and white: Page one, A horned baby is found in the ruined remains of a caravan. The parents, also people with horns lie dead. Page two, a family has taken the baby in and named him Mikhail. He bites the mother who tries to nurse him, does not speak for a long time and then quickly grows much taller than his adoptive sister, who is several years older than him....

Digitally illustrated comic pages in black and white: Page three, it becomes clear he does not fit in. He eats too much, he is feared among the village children and injures them when trying to play with them, he is not allowed to go to festivities for fear he might cause trouble. He begins to feel isolated. Page 4, he thinks back to his only true friend, his sister Sara. Always there for him, kind to him. She buys him a toy sword, cheers him up and accepts him as he reveals that his gender identity might not align with what people think.

Digitally illustrated comic pages in black and white: Page five, it is due to this connection that Mikhail (they/them) senses a change in Sara. She becomes sad and distance. Soon, they learn that Sara has been betrothed and is to be married and sent away. Page six, the sorrow grows. They cannot do anything to help Sara, feel alone...the memories fade into a 'now.' Mikhail stands outside in the snow, playing by themself.

Digitally illustrated comic pages in black and white: Page 7 Mikhail plays alone with a sword and hobby horse. They seem innocent and happy - they are just a child. They hear Sara's voice on the wind, distressed. Page 8, following the noise, they spot Sara being harassed by their fiance, who is trying to talk her into sexual activity. Resisting, she angers him and he strikes her face. It is then that Sara spots Mikhail, who is watching all this. She is afraid and tells Mikhail to stay away, trying to protect her little sibling.

finally got some chelldos sketches done. i wanted to test out their dynamic and do some warmups since i havent drawn digitally in weeks i find it so funny that you can watch them improve in quality so much #chelldos #portal

three glados' all holding chell in different ways while chell bites her lip

a glados android crouched down to and undoing chell's belt while a hook reaches behind chell to presumably pull her pants down. idfk

a more humanoid body for glados is out of breath and sweating while sitting on chell's leg as she holds both of chell's arms above her head

Drawing of Franklin being stopped in the streets by a desperate Arthur, pleading with him for help.

Every single season of LOK is very flawed but so are the characters and I like that about them. She is confident because she has to be, she's given a role she can never fill, she is forced into the public eye and her entire existence is politicized to an extreme extent

i’m sorry, raava. there wasn’t enough time 💔 (what if raava used all her energy to give wan this dying hallucination before they reincarnated??? what then????)

redraw of wan’s death from beginnings pt 2, only raava, a spirit in the form of a human woman with white hair and blue markings, is there to physically comfort him. she kneels beside him with her hand on his cheek while everything burns in the background

wan has a rough day (they have this fight once a week) #thelegendofkorra #avatarwan #raava #tlok

page 1 of a comic: wan, a man with messy hair and eye bags, looks progressively more frustrated as he explains “okay, raava, look. the entire point of your human form is to BLEND IN. if we don’t blend in, then we still draw attention. if we draw attention…” (panel in between show’s a set of blue eyes with eyebrows arched and question marks around them) “…then we don’t BLEND IN. so can you please…PLEASE. just TRY to act a little bit more human?!”

comic page 2: panel 1 is raava, a humanoid spirit with white hair and blue markings all over her body crouching in a very unnatural position, glaring up at him and asking, “what about this isn’t human?”
panel 2 is just wan covering his face with both hands in exhaustion at her reaction

Perihelion from #murderbot in a gilded cage. (Design notes below)

A digital painting of Perihelion from the Murderbot Diaries, hanging in a golden cage in front of a background with faint glowing lines and a tiled floor. Its tail and tendrils hang out of the cage and all of its eyes are closed in resignation. The inside of the cage is also a space scene.
