It's always surprising to watch a movie where you expect a high body count but nope. Like Lake Placid. Dropbear has more confirmed bodies than Lake Placid. But Dropbear also brings up chlamydia, so that will involve more bodies.

Blackwood Manor is an old mouldering place surrounded by gnarled trees and an ever-present fog. local villages report glimpses of strange and terrifying creatures lurking within, hidden just out of sight, glaring out at them from behind the curtains.

Blackwood manors proprietor is a shadowy recluse, one Professor Archibald Blackwood. He stalks town only for the barest supplies And when shipments of unknown goods arrived from overseas.

They're a whispers among the locals that the professor had a sister. If this sister doesn't need exist no one has seen her in more than a decade.
