Sebastian is undoubtedly aware of more than has been disclosed. I trust his judgment without reservation. Even so, this “cat boy” evokes an unexplainable sense of unease. Sapphire’s Report

There are unverified rumors suggesting a possible connection between H.U.G. and an unidentified organization, potentially involving experimental activity. However, it is not within my authority to question Sebastian’s decisions. His orders remain absolute. +++

Although he presents as indifferent, he has been observed repeatedly staring at Mew, Toby’s robotic companion, an action that has drawn Sebastian’s attention. +++

Of particular concern is the absence of any verifiable background information. No records of parents, family, or prior residence have been located. It is as though he appeared without precedent. +++

The Special Class was originally established for students who could not be evaluated through conventional academic standards. It was temporarily discontinued after misuse by parents attempting to enroll definitively unfit students. Despite this, his academic performance is consistently above average. While not exceptional, it presents no disciplinary concern. Expulsion was initially considered; however, Sebastian personally intervened and requested his continued enrollment, resulting in his reassignment to the Special Class.++

On his first day, he adopted a stray cat from the school garden, much to Kotori’s relief, as he had frequently complained about the cats damaging his vegetables and plants. On the second day, he submitted a formal request to establish and lead a club dedicated to the study of felines. +++

Notably, under pressure or perceived threat, his pupils dilate significantly, and he exhibits signs of hyperreflexia. In such states, he demonstrates rapid evasive movements and displays a threatening gaze toward nearby individuals. +++

H.U.G. has refused all forms of medical examination, including those conducted by the institution’s own medical staff. As a result, his physical capabilities and age remain estimations. ++

H.U.G., not his birth name but the designation by which he is known within the institution, provided minimal information upon enrollment. On his application, he filled the name field solely with the phrase “havia um gato,” from which the acronym originated. +++
