I find it very interesting how these two share the same birthday (tonight’s loot)

Kid Icarus Figma Pit and Bayonetta game both acquired on the same night.

Reptar vs Mecha-Plankton is an intense yet surprisingly fun matchup

Welp, seems the only thing Nintendo is gonna do for kid Icarus is a quick acknowledgment of the Series’s 40th anniversary… unfortunately

SGUY2004 🇵🇷 @sguy04.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Overall the Direct was fine, new Kirby and Metroid very cool, and some games to check out too. I’m still holding onto hope for Kid Icarus anyways

I’m just gonna hope the supposed Smash 6 rumor turns out to be Kid Icarus. If the rumor gets confirmed then I’m hoping Smash 6 becomes successful enough for a Kid Icarus installment for Switch 2

Still cool to see Skylanders still have a ton of love and passion behind it. Let’s see if this goes somewhere…

000

SGUY2004 🇵🇷 @sguy04.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Yeah the Toys to life genre was a fad that got easily exploited. I still love Skylanders and I do want to return, but it’s best to have everything unlockable in game, with the Toy gimmick being entirely optional. There still big passion behind Skylanders at least.

SGUY2004 🇵🇷 @sguy04.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

So I looked into the Super Smash Bros. 64 PC port I’ve been hearing about and yeah they used AI, God fucking Damnit. Can someone else make a Non-AI version please?

It’s strange I know, but I’d say they improve the figure with series 2 and 3. Unfortunately the opposite happened with his in game models. He looks good in the first two Skylanders games for what it is. But once they switch the focus to HD they missed the mark and he looks chopped lol.

As of currently, Toys for Bob’s next game is seemingly Spyro 4, which I’m looking forward to. As for Skylanders, I do have the belief TBob can bring it back by rebooting it, possibly Spyro 4 as a set up. This is an Easter egg in astronaut.

SGUY2004 🇵🇷 @sguy04.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

I want to eventually play the original games, most likely the reignited trilogy as Toys for Bob made said trilogy remake since they’ve made Skylanders. So far I’ve been learning about Spyro through research and a couple of video lets plays and such.

020

SGUY2004 🇵🇷 @sguy04.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Toys for Bob’s upcoming game is seemingly Spyro 4, and I have a good feeling they’ll make a Skylanders Reboot afterwards, this time part of the reignited continuity and with the right Spyro Design. (Easter Egg in Astro Bot)

120

SGUY2004 🇵🇷 @sguy04.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Despite the odd shape and design, Spyro’s is still one of the top heroes in all of Skylands in the lore. Toys for Bob would eventually work on the Reignited trilogy and did put all their effort to get Spyro just right, including the design. It’s clear they love the Purple Dragon.

SGUY2004 🇵🇷 @sguy04.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

I do believe Spyro 4 is real and is around the corner. If so, I also think Toys for Bob will reboot Skylanders afterwards, maybe a teaser of such in a possible secret ending in Spyro 4.

On the topic of political issues in paleontology, it needs to be reminded that colonialism and indigenous erasure has contributed to the field, which seriously needs to be addressed and abolished out of the field.
