Hey I am on Tic-Tok! I did an interview for West Harbour Heros on the effects of a subduction zone earthquake on Tofino. Lots of takes and editing made me look good!! I guess this is an add for it? I will have to watch the whole 1 hour episode! They interviewed a bunch of people.

His work included finding and monitoring nests, banding and measuring nestlings and tagging adults, sometimes with radiotransmitters to learn how birds respond to the pressures of urban development, how that might change their habitat use, survival, breeding success, and physiological condition.

Molecular biology and biochemistry student Sadia Sumiya completed a student research term with prof Dustin King where she worked on developing a new method to identify proteins that sense changing levels of CO₂ in pathogens, work that can pave the way for the next generation of antibiotics.
