Every single queer PoC I know that has left their homophobic or unsupportive racial community to find a far less pigmented queer community had the hope that their combined racial/queer experience would be a bridge. It so rarely is. Often, it becomes "go away, you're a reminder of my privilege."

Queerness does not uphold the social contract of whiteness. We know this because it was culturally targeted and heavily suppressed RACIALLY. Queerness, as viewed by whiteness, dips into the racially dehumanized identity of non-whiteness. That's why they'll accept racist white gay conservatives.
