Striving to be a gentleman. For equality. Yes, I talk about sex work & challenge stigma here. Dworkin feminists and labor advocates who ignore sexworkers are problematic.

Even though this was taken down, the fact that a company making revenue off #sexworkers labor thinks this was okay is telling. The same parent company (ICF Technologies) that runs ads on sites stealing from sexworkers on their platform. They cultivate fuckbois, the least likely to spend.

If y'all have *NOT* already done so, DELETE those damn menstrual period tracking apps *NOW*! (Go back to old-timey circling dates on paper calendar if you need to!) 🤬 www.kshb.com/news/local-n...

A Missouri lawmaker wants the state to create a list of pregnant women who are "at risk" of seeking an abortion.

The things people say on work accounts that customers can see is baffling at times. Some do care about character, morals, and humility beyond everything in the world being about designer goods and expensive wine.

This affects every #sexworker vertical from cam, dancing, to adult film, etc. POS like this scum don't see sexworkers as humans, just tools. Sexworkers are far beyond the sexualized parts of whatever vertical(s) of the industry they work in. The stigma has to stop. Justice to the victims.

38 states have feticide laws, which authorize homicide charges against anyone who causes a miscarriage or stillbirth. Post-Roe, these laws are being weaponized by prosecutors to criminalize the actions of pregnant people INSTEAD of protecting them. It's all part of the anti-abortion playbook.

Article text:
For the anti-abortion movement, the past 50 years was a struggle to reverse Roe v. Wade. The next chapter is a fight to establish fetal personhood—the idea that the 14th Amendment of the Constitution recognizes rights to equal protection and due process of the law from the moment of conception.

At least at the moment, the Supreme Court doesn’t appear imminently likely to recognize fetal personhood, and so the anti-abortion movement has developed a long-term plan: writing fetal personhood into as many other areas of law as possible, and reading personhood into old laws, to create a precedent for recognizing constitutional personhood that the high court eventually won’t be able to ignore.Banner that says "The anti-abortion playbook" across of the top of a graphic with screenshots from a featured article in SLATE.

Article text:
Reinterpreting or expanding feticide laws is part of this strategy. Most already on the books explicitly or implicitly protect pregnant women from prosecution, but in some cases, the protections are incomplete or missing altogether.

If states believe that rights and personhood begin at fertilization—and more importantly, if they believe that the only way to honor those rights is to impose harsh criminal punishments against anyone who violates those rights—then prosecutors opposed to abortion will be tempted to repurpose any feticide law to criminalize conduct related to pregnancy.

Let's be appreciative of #sexworkers. Despite the stigma, sexworkers are people. Personally, I'm still recovering from a serious car accident and a sexworker has gone out of her way to look after my mental health. I can't ever repay that no matter what. Don't disrespect sexworkers around me.

I find it 'interesting' when I see women vocally against #sexworkers, and especially #FSSW who will say, "I don't care if many like they're work, I want to protect those forced into it." They clearly don't understand the difference between consent and force, which is glaring in topics of intimacy.

Also on this note, since this is a fresh start. Organizations posing as being for #sexworkers, but only work to the benefit of its President will be ignored and called out. Withholding information on sexual harassment until it becomes 'useful' for you is abhorrent.

I've heard someone argue the parent company of Streamate and Jerkmate are an 'ethical' entity. However, they put these ads on a stolen content site. I don't believe any #sexworker is working for free. This is why rooms are full of guys feeling entitled to free things. That, and they are stupid.

I'm still getting used to 🎙Skies of Blue🎙, but my DMs are open for #sexworkers who aren't actively pushing for and supporting those who are bigoted and are in favor of an anti-sexwork agenda or are helping platform or cover for known abusers.
