Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 30/01/2025Brigid removed her design from HAED (check Reddit if you don’t know about the HAED hubbub) but has this pattern with Paine Free Crafts now - painefreecrafts.com/product/whee...painefreecrafts.comWheel of the Year ~Counted cross stitch from Paine Free Crafts, based on original art by Brigid Ashwood. Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 30/01/2025I was so excited to find a markup app for cross stitch on iOS. Have you tried Markup R-XP? I know many fellow stitchers use Pattern Keeper - some have non-iOS devices just for that purpose. Pattern: Wheel of the Year by Brigid Ashwood, the original BW chart poorly rendered by HAED 320
Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 28/01/2025Progress on the first stamped cross stitch project I’ve done. This was a great way to still be able to stitch with my brain turned off. I’ll put the link in the comments 140
Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 26/01/2025I love these! I’ve done several of them 😍 110
Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 24/01/2025Band samplers in general may seem more cohesive, and this is a negative space band sampler. You’ll see historical samplers were done to show off different types of stitches, and so weren’t meant to be symmetrical at all. Today’s samplers are often somewhere in between. 010
Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 23/01/2025I’ve seen some from caterpillar cross stitch, and I think some pattern based ones from other makers 110
Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 23/01/2025I love the negative space in LDS patterns! 100
Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Agree! It’s just that bit smaller than 14 ct and if you like that look, it’s still easy to work with Be aware that patterns will come out different sizes on different count cloth 020
Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 22/01/2025You can find rolls in 14 to 18 ct at Michael’s if that is close to you. Online has more brands and counts and fabrics, like jobalan. I use 123stitch and everythingcrossstitch 010

Bailey (Sew Marie) @sewmariestudio.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Hi! I’m Bailey, the cross stitch designer behind Sew Marie Studio. I’ve migrated here from meta platforms, and am excited to dive in and re-engage with the stitching community. Wash your hands was one of my earliest patterns, and along with my self-care bingo SAL remains one of my customer favs 2210

I'm trying to get a good feed together for designers so it's easier to find new patterns. Comment and repost is the best way to get added. I'm manually approving additions so we keep out the bot/AI sludge. go.bsky.app/ypS1uD 769856
