Ohhh! A fun fact I learnt about doing a first aid course today was that the Red Cross actually has three symbols! I knew about the Red Cross and Red Crescent, but to help avoid any connection to religious associations they also have the Red Crystal! The crescent was also chosen for a similar reason

Watched movie 生息之地, Living the land. directed by Huo Meng. It follows a boy living in rural Henan Province in the midst of the socioeconomic upheaval and urban migration of 1990's China. A slow burn of a movie, it is cinematographic yet raw. honest in both the struggles and beauty so many faced.
